Cam has never had the slightest injury.

VY is hurt after every game.

WEAKNESSES The major knock on Kuechly is that he had a lot of "inflated" tackle production in college: i.e., most of his tackles came five-to-eight yards downfield. He didn't get up into the line of scrimmage to make powerful, impactful plays much, and won't be relied upon as a pass rusher at the next level, where he'll be strictly a tackling, sideline-to-sideline backer.

The criticisms and comparisons are there, you don't agree with the fine. Thats your right and nobody can fault you for it. But to call people racists and names shows a lack of maturity on your part and I ask that you stop doing it outside of Taboo.

Are you delusional? Where did i call anybody racist?

I would just like people to look beyond race and stop categorizing people. We had posters on this board who said that Mariani was Wes Welcher. What is thew only thing they have in common? Thank you.

As for Kuechly his 190 tackles indicates to me he is making tackles everywhere on the field and doesn't quit on any play. Read the Mike Mayock comment. Barett Ruud ran a 4.75 40 at his combine, Kuechly ran a 4.58. They are not the same.

"""Kuechly is one of the most instinctual and technically sound linebackers to enter the draft in years, and he had the tackle production throughout his career to back it up. He is able to avoid trash at his knees and is elite when it comes to shedding blockers and keeping himself free to the ball. He is excellent working over the top of tight ends to maul and delay their release, and is capable of running with them down the field. He has the sudden burst and long speed to cover a very wide range against the run and is an extremely sure-handed tackler."""

So being able to avoid low blocks, shredding blockers and being a sure tackler are not important in run defense?

First and foremost, I am not debating his run defense. I could/may be wrong about that. What I saw and read about him, seemed to suggest he was more of a pass defender. This is why I made the comparison to Ruud.

Now, I know it is hard to believe, but Ruud was actually a decent linebacker in Tampa. Not physical, but played the pass well. Which is why I compared him to Ruud. If I had compared him to Cassel, Calmus, or Sirmon, you may have an argument. Honestly, I can't even think of another linebacker off the top of my head who is great against the pass and not so great against the run.

    basically calling me a racist.

I really cannot comment on anything about Welker. As I did not say it, I really do not know the context.

Weren't the Panthers absolutely getting gashed at the run with Beason at MLB? Then Beason got hurt, Kuechly stepped up, and the run defense significantly improved?

Oh, so now it's the media that killed VY....lol!! What ever happened to "it was VY that killed VY"? And as far as VY playing for a less talented team, he had a top 5 defense to carry him along so let's not try to make it sound like VY sucked because he was playing on a bad team. The first year he was sitting on the bench that same team went 13-3.

I think they gave up 85 yards and a TD to the Seahawks last week and they had a bye this week.

Actually mr. non clutch newton fumbled the ball after he had the first down which would have won the game but instead forced the panthers to punt it! Cam Newton is the least clutch qb in the league!

His first year that defense was ranked like 29th in the league.....VY had zero good wr's! When drew bennett is your best wr he had, that's saying something!
