Everything I've seen for Reddick has him as a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Major off-season acquisition - Glenn Dorsey DT 6'1 297. Considered a bust, he's almost definitely leaving KC and will be looking for a 4-3 team. I see him as a perfect compliment to Casey. I'd like us to keep most of the gang together.

--Finish 7-9, which isn't too bad considering the Schedule, Defense and injuries.
Get the 11th pick in the draft

--Trade 11 for 14,4th and 6th. (Philly and Seattle did almost the same trade last year.)

    1. (14) Barkevious Mingo DE/OLB LSU (6'4 240 lbs)
We are looking for a playmaker on Defense. Mingo is going to fall a little, CBS has him at 12 right now, but he just hasn't produced the numbers at LSU this season to go top 10 in my opinion. Very similar to Bruce Irvin, and gets drafted in exactly the same spot.

    Titans trade 43(2nd) and 107(4th) for 35(2nd)

    2. (35) Matt Elam SS Florida (5’10 202lbs)
Titans see Elam slip into the second round, and see him as a day 1 starter at SS. Hits like a truck and is lighting fast in run support. We use our 4th round pick to move up a few spots.

    3. (75) Margus Hunt DE SMU (6’7 280lbs)
Love this guy. Bet teams would be able to run against this front four. Hunt-Casey-Martin-Morgan

    4. Omoregie Uzzi RG Georgia Tech (6’3 302lbs)
    More competition on the O-line

    5. Johnny Adams CB Michigan State (5’11 178lbs)
    Need another corner.

    5. (Comp)Miguel Maysonet RB
    Like his running style

    6. AJ Klein LB Iowa State
    Tackle Machine. LB coverage.

    7. Alex Hurst RT LSU

I look at all the "potential" first round DEs:

    Jarvis Jones
    Bark Mingo
    Bjoern Werner*
    Damontre Moore*
    Sam Montgomery*
    Alex Okafor
    Dion Jordan
    Jackson Jeffcoat*
    Ezekiel Ansah
    Corey Lemonier*

and I think, hey maybe Tank could fall to the second. Crazier things have defenitely happened. Although a lot depends on who comes out to, lots of underclassmen. The combine will seperate these guys a little more when we get the official measurements/combine stats. I do see Tank as a late 1st/early 2nd.

Have you seen Dorsey play? He's terrible. I'd be interested to see him in a rebirth 43 team... but I hardly consider it a major off-season acquisition.

Mingo is just another overrated LSU defensive lineman. He has 4 sacks on the year, playing with one of the better DL in the NCAA. At 240, he's undersized to play in the 43 DE spot. He's 15-20 lbs lighter than Wimbley. Haven't been impressed with him at all this year, just moved up thanks to the ESPN hype.

I'd rather wait to see who falls into the 2nd round I kind of like Alex Okafor, his production has stayed consistent even when Jeffcoat went down so he isn't just a by product of other depth on the team playing well.

Mingo is an athletic freak. I've been critical of his numbers, but he does something to impress me every single game I watch. He is sooo quick. I think he could be a stud in the 3-4, but there is no way he could be an every day 4-3 DE. My prediction is that he either bulks up for the combine, or runs a 4.4.

I like Montgomery a lot. I like Okafor in the 2nd. I wouldn't mind Dorsey.

Thoughts on Eric Reid as our 1st pick?

I think their will be better options when we draft in the first round. Especially if we have under 9 wins and miss the playoffs. I think their are better options in this years draft at safety to wait and see who falls in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

Matt Elam I feel has been the most consistent safety this year if we were to go safety in the first I would go with him.

Phillip Thomas, D.J. Swearinger, John Boyett I think would be good late round options

I can't stand another year of Griffin/Babineaux combo. Terrible.

I think we are stuck with Griffin after the big contract, unless we go under new management and clean house. I do think we will go safety early, but if we are picking between 10-20 we could fill another need and get who falls into the 2nd.

If we did go in the first Matt Elam would be a better option I feel.
