You're in denial if you think Locker was a bright spot today. 3 INTS, 2 lost fumbles and a delay of game. 5 sacks and some of them were caused by him holding onto the ball too long. If a receiver gets his hand on a pass but doesn't complete it its called a "drop" by game standards. That means even if its a bad pass where a receiver has to reach behind him and gets one hand on it (Cook in the 1st quarter) its recorded as a drop. All 7 of those "drops" weren't on our receivers. This is against a banged up Houston D that got lit up by CHAD HENNE!... CHAD FREAKING HENE! We cant pretend like this is the Houston D at 100%, they are at half mass and still whooped us good

are you guys watching the same ****ing game as me?
a lot of you guys don't deserve to watch football... Locker is not a problem at all... he is a newly starting quarterback, with all the potential in the world...

bad playcalling has hindered him so far in his career, and his o-line sucks, and his receivers drop every other pass... and we still had hope at the end of the game...

someone mentioned we need a QB who can finish drives not one that just starts them, we had that in VY, who was super clutch. tell me how that worked out...

this team is making a transition and i see them moving in the positive direction. the defense played a hell of a game against what some call the best team in the NFL.

anywho, locker is going to be something special... u guys wait and see...

Okay, so you are saying that Locker playing like he did today is good enough to take us to the super bowl?

I just want to be clear.

when the playbook opened up a bit, we saw a different offense out there.

I dont see anyone saying that he is supposed to.

I see people calling him out, like they should be because he was not a consistent, good starting NFL QB today.... then the butthurt crew coming in and trying to deny and cover it up.

Granted, some are over the top about it but does anyone really listen to those people anyways?

(Im not one of those "Hess a bust" people)

So compared to all of the young QBs in the league that are starting and playing well, would you take Locker over any of them? Cam, Dalton, Ponder, Kaepernick, Luck, RGIII, Tannehill, Weeden, and Wilson. Honestly with his inconsistency I dont think I would take Locker over any of those guys. All of those guys are playing well, mean while we are still making excuses for a QB who is in his second year in the NFL

i can agree that there is room for a lot of growth... however, a team has to make it easier for a new quarterback...

locker needs to know that the defense can get a stop, or that the WR can routinely make catches... he knows that his teammates are not that good, and its hurting him. like on the run he had when he fumbled, he doesnt slide cause he knows if he doesnt pick up those extra 5 yards running, the offense probably wont get them... basically he is trying to hard to compensate for his teammates, thats why he was taking sacks instead of throwing the ball away, because if he throws it away, he knows there no chance for a play... he instead rather try to make a play and if a sack happens, so be it...

im a little drunk, hopefully i make sense...

all of those QB's except for Kaepernick has had more starts and playing time than Locker, except for Kaepernick... and he just lost to the rams..

Cam is nothing special, Dalton i would take but he has also had 25 or so starts, luck who i think is very good was a number one overall pick, however on the season locker has a higher passer rating than him...

but my argument is, palmer hindered him, and now we can let locker grow into the player he is suppose to be... i mean **** locker is better than anyone in the draft anyways...
