Jones is a 4.0 student who also can play center. I'd put him high on my draft board.

I love the flexibility, he can literally play any spot on the OL... which would be huge for us. We could use him at G or C instantly, potentially T if Roos/Stewart keep sucking. He's sliding on draft boards, once was as high as early teens, and now more of a late 1st.

My new man crush. Great size and speed. Rocks OT's regualrly.
He is a red-shirt Soph so can declare. I have as a 3rd pick right now.

Check him in the bowl game vs Texas

Unlikely he'll go out if he's a RedShirt soph projected in the 3rd round. If he returns another year, produces the same results, he could see late 1st-2nd action. But, that's said about alot of players and they still go out.

I just want us to get Barrett Jones. The best Oline prospect coming out and he's a good person with a good head on his shoulders (i.e. not Pacman, VY, or Britt).

No he's not. He's #3 behind Luke Joeckel, Chance Warmack, and arguably Jake Matthews.

Look at this... mentioned him waaaay back in October. Now he was a runner up for the best defensive back and will likely be a 2nd round pick. Back when I saw him, he was projected 6th-7th round and couldn't even find draft pages on him. Man, i'm awesome. First Ansah and now Thomas... hey Titans i'll quit my day job! hit me up, please? :beerbang:

Warmack is better than Jones. I can see Jones falling to mid 2nd round, some teams will have him as a Center and some as a Guard. Honestly, I think he's a really good offensive lineman but we'll never be a top guy. Maybe a pro bowl just based off his name but if we're going Guard I would much rather have Warmack.

I'm still hoping we go defense in the 1st then address the OL.

I'm hoping we trade back, somehow scoop up Matt Elam, Barrett Jones, and a DL in the 1st/2nd.
