Mike Wallace is the guy we need to target in FA. Losing Cook takes away one of our only mismatch/deep threats. Mike Wallace brings the extra speed that has to be accounted for by the defense. He gives us insurance if Britt were to go down that we still have a deep threat/play maker. Wallace has shown that he does well with a strong armed QB who can scramble which is what Locker brings to the table.

Let Stevens, Thompson, and Barden handle the TE duties.

Instead of franchising Cook which is the only way we keep him. Spend his money on getting Wallace.

We need to continue to surround Locker with weapons. If we lose Cook we have to find another weapon and Wallace is an experienced young guy.

Soo... we'd have Mike Wallace, Nate, Britt, and Kendall. That's def some depth at WR.

I would also give Rashard Mendenhall a serious look as well. I just don't see him back with the Steelers, but I don't think he is done in the league just yet. He is a bigger back that runs with power which is what we need to back up CJ.

That is a nice 4 wide package with Wright and Washington being solid guys to find the openings underneath and Wallace and Britt taking the top off.

How about filling some of our weaknesses before we worry about adding to our WR depth.

I'd say a definite no to Mendenhall. He is poop.

I'd rather us look at every other RB in Pittsburgh but him.

Their are a few solid guys on the list, but Keller is really the only one that is young and is an actual deep threat.

IDK how many of you guys keep up with the Giants, but Martellus Bennett has been nothing shy of fantastic this year.

If he manages to slip away from New York, I realllllly hope we sign him.

Some people even call him the "Black Unicorn" for his heroic actions around New York. He saved a mans life last month.
