I just wonder if the Titans will even reach out to any of these 'high profile' guys before they decide to just keep Munch. I really don't see them flat out firing him, but if they could at least shop around and see if some of these guys have interest. If they do, then let Munch go.

I don't think that would ever fly with Munch. I'm sure the entire front office has allegiance to him and would never do that, at least not without him finding out. And I doubt Adams could man that operation. Not sure most coaches would commit to a spot that's already taken anyways.

If we're going to look for replacements, let Munch go first.

I voted for Chip Kelly. Anyone who voted for Cowher needs to come back down to Earth. There is no way that happens. Gruden won't happen either so just stop that train before it even starts. Herm Edwards is unlikely but I could see it happening more than the other two guys and I don't think Saban would come to Tennessee if he leaves. Brian Kelly won't leave Notre Dame. SO that only leaves Kelly, Reid (who I think takes a year off coaching) Holmgren (wont happen) or MM. Kelly is the only realistic option on this list and I don't even think he will be our coach.

    Yep.

Open up the wallet, Bud. Make him the highest paid coach if that's what it takes.

I have a feeling he would really like to coach here... he likes our team, not just Locker. Before the season began, they did an over/under number of wins for each team. We were at 8. He said over because he obviously sees potential here.

We could have the only coach in the NFL who's penis has a twitter account:

If we would to get a new coach I would want it to be Winston Moss. A very good pro linebacker and has been the assistant head coach for the Packers since 2007. We have a young group of talented linebackers which he has done wonders for in getting the most out of his linebackers at Green Bay. With the addition of Moss we would most likely switch to a 3-4 defense which a majority of this board are hoping for. At the very least I would like to see him as next years defensive coordinator.

IF the team made a change, I'd be after stealing Bruce Arians from the Colts, or perhaps Dave Toub of the Bears. I'd definitely take a pass on all of the retreads (including Chuckie).

I am not sure where this facination with college coaches despite the repeated failures of big time college coaches in the NFL. It kind of reminds me of this house of activists that is up the street from me. They are all socialists. And despite the repeated failures of socialism throughout its history these guys still push it.

Pete Carorll is doing well. Of course he was an NFL head coach before. Jim Harbaugh is doing well but he played in the league 15 years. And is not too far removed from it. Outside of Jimmy Johnson college coaches flame out in the NFL. There is a long list of failure:
    • Lou Holtz
    • Nick Saban
    • Rich Brooks
    • Ron Meyer
    • John McKay
    • Dennis Erikson
    • Butch Davis
    • Steve Spurrier
    • Bobby Petrino
Why in the world would we want Chip Kelly or Brian Kelly here unless we are shooting for the first overall pick in the draft.

    Gruden would be perfect imo.
