Yes, because we've lost so many Pro Bowl corners... Finny was, not anymore. He's still good, but he was a small part and wouldn't have mattered here.

he didn't want to play for munchak or his pathetic staff. Chris Palmer? Seriously? You think Peyton's gonna give him the time of day?

Fisher and Manning had a good relationship, and Fisher is well respected throughout the league. Fisher would have been on the phone so quick after Manning was released, I doubt Manning would have even entertained other teams.

Yeah, Pats would probably be better. We'd be up there though. Not cellar dwelling with Munchak and Locker.

Munch was 9-7 last season, Fisher's team won 4 games last year, and all of this is irrelevant. Fisher is better than Munch, the disparity is debatable but the fact is not.

That almost makes sense... other than the fact that Finny WANTED to stay, and the front office didnt want him............

So your point, really isnt much of a point.

Its not Fisher vs Munch..... We needed to move on from Fisher because he was NOT going to get it done here. yes, we probably picked up someone worse, but no playoffs is no playoffs. Winning 8 games instead of 6 isnt exactly going to make anyone happy either.

    Fishers last year here.... 6-10

    This season? 6-10

And his QBs were who? Why do you overlook that. Ultimately, Fisher is gone because of the pi$$ poor QB situations. You really think if Peyton Manning was the QB of the last 13-3 Titans team they wouldn't have won the Super Bowl? Kerry Collins led team did that well?!! VY had a winning record and can't find a 3rd string job anywhere in his prime? McNair won an NFL MVP with the most pedestrian numbers ever. All a product of Jeff Fisher.

John Fox is a great example. He is Jeff Fisher. Now he has a stud at the QB and you see the results.

Then why post here? The thread is titled Jeff Fisher and the Rams and I DIDN'T CREATE it. A lot of bad predictions were discussed and now you don't want to follow up about misinformation? What is this, an Internet message board?
I loved that beat down UT took in Nashville.
    Merry Christmas and Anchordown!
