Not just the franchise, in all of football.

While I agree he does not belong in the HOF(I'd put him in the hall of really good) he had that IT factor. With him taking snaps, I never felt we were out of the game. I still remember the AFC divisional PO game in New England that he lead a near comeback(should have won but Drew Bennett drops that pass).

Point is he was a line backer playing QB but he was a natural born leader. He made the players around him better, and I am wondering if we(the Titans) or the NFL will ever see this type of QB ever again? The ultimate tough man.

Big Ben would be the closest thing since, hard to tackle/very tough. Brett Favre was a lot like McNair except better..

At least our current QB comes from the same school as Moon. Odd, Locker is the third starter From Washington the Oilers/Titans have had since I started following them.

Bud never wanted to change them. He was under pressure from the league. I think he chose something ugly as an F-you to the NFL.

Those unis were ugly. Not saying our current ones are much better but I'm not big on a baby/light blue.

I'm a huge fan of our light blue. But as for the question, I'm sure we will. McNair was special because it was rare in his time. But with athletes getting more athletic and bigger with each decade ("gym rats") I'm sure we'll see something like McNair.

There will never be another #9 on any team in the league. No one will ever put their body through that much pain and play through it week in and week out.

That doesn't mean we won't find a better QB than him one day.
