You can whine and ***** all you want.

If you are talking about finding a new team or how you won't support the Titans, then you are a fake ass fan.

I know there has been some confusion. I'll be posting the official definitions and rule-set for fake ass fanhood soon.

And I remember when I nominated you for the rational response squad. :disappointed:

Winning franchises are full of "fake fans". Wonder why?

The "fake fan" squad would do well to remember the old saying insanity is continuing to do the same things and expecting different results. There is nothing rational about that.

You know damn well what I'm talking about- that stupid concept of a "fake fan" versus a "true fan". Stupid redneck egocentric pride that points fingers at others rather than taking a hard look at oneself, or organization in this case. "If you aint wit us- you agin' us" mentality.

There is nothing wrong with anybody who takes a long critical look at any and every component of a team effort. Their goals are the same- we ALL want to win a championship. It IS a popular argument tactic among some posters here to castigate the loyalty of another poster who has a dissenting opinion. Especially those that recognize traits in other organizations worth emulating.

The "pack your bags", "fake fan", "go cheer for them", rhetoric comes off as completely moronic to people like me who aren't AFRAID of what they might see if they take a hard and critical look their organization.

Sorry to hurt your feelings Francis.

And sorry, but if you bail on the team and cheer for another team that makes a fake fan in my book.

There is nothing wrong with a critical opinion just like there is nothing wrong with calling someone out for idiocy.

    waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Actually I don't know what you are talking about since YOU are now the one changing the context of your statement. :)

Your context was that we do the same ole same ole.

Really, we just made a HC change 2 seasons ago. That new HC fired an OC mid-season. We tried to bring in a prolific QB via free agency, something I don't remember us doing in the past either.

So... I just don't see how it is the same ole same ole. We got rid of the same ole same ole and have tried something different. It may not work, but it aint the same.

And who was the poor misguided soul that nominated you?

"Rational response" and they way you've been engaging in debate/discussion around here lately couldn't be much further apart.

Look, Riverman pretty much hit the nail on the head. We all have our own opinions on the state of this organization. Choosing to acknowledge our faults and have a discussion on them does not make one a "fake fan". Admitting that certain other teams (even a division rival) are much further along than us in the pursuit of the ultimate goal does not make one a "fake fan". And quite frankly it comes off as extremely juvenile to constantly let everyone know when they don't fit your criteria for "true fan".

I think it's safe to say that everyone here is a "real" Titans fan. Excluding dbc of course. But that's not so much a matter of opinion as it is the fact that he threw a hissy when Fisher left and publicly turned in his fan card. The guy's sporting a Rams avatar FFS.

Your usual 40-watt, 10 teethed response.

Nobody is talking about "bailing" on the Titans.

Wow. It seems as if someone pissed in your Cheerios this morning. As a Titans fan I can choose to be unhappy with the team and I can choose to say I can save my money by not dropping thousands on them this year. If I was a " fake fan " I probably wouldn't care and just go jump on someone else's wagon and leave it at that.

All you're saying is if you stop spending money you're not a fan. Get real.

Riverman nailed it. What this organization is doing is the exact definition of insanity. I saw enough out of Munch and his friends the last 2 years to know what he's doing doesn't work. You seem like a smart guy, I don't know where you get off labeling people as anything because they don't agree with you.
