I always thought Manning simply preferred to work for John Elway then for the Titans.

When we recruited Steve Hutchinson, he said the reason he came over was because of Matthews and Munchak. Great line coaches wanted him so he went, just like great QB (Elway) wanted Peyton so he went.

Of Course. But we are talking about Bud logic here. Not normal logic.

I'd rather ask the Redskins, Colts, Falcons, or Texans, I like their answers better

it means 2 players that might have turned our franchise around will be not be available. It means we have 2 less players of the pool to pick from, so it hurt our chances no matter how you swing it.

I don't think the firing had anything to do with Manning.

If Wyatt is saying that he thinks that Bud fired Reinfeldt then I believe him. I don't know why but I do. I do believe that Bud was willing to do and pay whatever it took to get Manning and Reinfeldt probably just blew him off about it. Sure they brought him in for a visit but it doesn't appear as though they really pulled out all the stops to make it happen.

As much as I want Jake to be our guy I would have taken Peyton in a heartbeat.

I didnt want them to throw the game, I just wanted them to lose naturally lol.

I agree with you, I dont want players who WANT to lose for a draft pick on the last game of the season. I just hoped the other team would beat them.

Although luckily we still end with a top 10 pick, so i was happy regardless.

Oh, and to bring some facts to this "it doesnt matter where we pick, the draft is a crap shoot" (yes its a crap shoot, but lets be real about talent vs finding a gem)

    I refer you to this

More hall of famers in the first round than every other round combined.

And how long were the Redskins, Colts, Falcons and Texans pathetic before they finally got it right?

Losing gets you out of the cellar....eventually.
