You feeling ok today? Casey and Martin are run stuffers first, then pass rushers.

Was Lewan the Tackle that completely wiffed on Clowney on the huge hit in the backfield? I don't think we need a OT in the first round either way.

Yea but that was a broken trap play. Not on Lewan.

Yea I know what they are but they don't push the pocket. You see them getting pushed back in run plays.

That's true, but they'll get better in time. Usually you don't get much from players til their 3rd and 4th year, Casey is ahead of schedule, he can be counted on, Martin too. I just see bigger needs right now.

Without adequate blocking we're doomed. We can still win games with average-good DT's, we don't need an Albert Haynesworth, although it would be nice, but we do need some blockers.

I gotta agree that DT isn't the #1 need for this team. Casey played very well and I believe he also graded out very well by sites like PFF. Marks also played quite well and Martin showed a lot of promise. Klug is still a decent pass-rushing DT.

I don't see a impact DT being on the board at #10 and I don't think it's ever a good idea to reach to fill a need.

I am going to tentatively say that the pick will be a LB, just because Te'o is the guy I really want. If he's off the board, then I think the Titans go OL and maybe even DE or CB if there's a guy they really like.

Yeah unless star falls to us, DT isn't gonna happen. If Te'o is gone at 10 I'd like to trade back

This. If we don't get Te'o my dream would be trade with Rams and get their 2 1st round picks but we probably wouldn't make a deal with a Fisher team. Chance Warmack and Matt Elam what up.

First two picks should be best-on-the-board between OL, DT and CB.

OL: I'm one of the guys who has been clamoring for interior OL help for five years now. We had no backup plan for Mawae and since he left the running game has dropped off severely. Now we can no longer count on 16 starts from Roos OR Stewart outside, something we took for granted since we drafted them both.

I doubt Luke Joeckel from TA&M will fall to 10 but if he does I'd take him over anyone else, including the three big DTs. As someone said, 10 seems high for G or C, but Chance Warmack and Barrett Jones from Alabama may well be worth it there.

Oh, and some sites rank Jake Matthews, Bruce's boy and Joeckel's running mate, as a mid-first rounder. If he is there in the second round I think it's highly likely we'll take him just based on 1.) fit, and 2.) the Bruce connection.

DT: The only way Gray could possibly keep his job is if the FO buys the idea that our D sucked because he didn't have the massive DTs he had at Buffalo. There are three guys over 320 projected in the first round: Star Lotuleilei from Utah (6'3", 325), Jonathan Hankins from Ohio State (6'3", 335), and Jonathan Jenkins from UGA (6'3", 355). I am WAY down on Jenkins after watching everyone run on UGA. The other two guys are harder to gauge.

CB: If Dee Milliner drops and we don't jump on him I'll be throwing things at my TV--again. But he won't. I think 10 might be too early for Jonathan Banks, but he can play Special Teams well so that adds some value. My dream scenario would be in Xavier Rhodes from Florida State somehow drops to our second-round spot.
