I'd go OC in the third round at the earliest. There's just no value taking one in the second round unless they could play multiple positions.

Also IMO Warmack is a far better prospect than DeCastro, in fact i'd go as far as to say he's the best Guard prospect I think I've ever scouted. But like Munch said, there's just no value in taking a OG in the top 10. Even if they become an All-Pro it's not a position that will effect your team as much as other positions will.

Based on your assessment of what could happen and if the Bengals trade went down, I would ideally like to see something like:

Round 1: Matt Elam, SS, Florida - Straight up ball player that would be a difference maker in the Titans secondary. He can tackle and, most importantly, he's not afraid to hit people.

Round 2: Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina - Really nice technician and will plug in as an instant starter at the Guard position. His strength is in run blocking, but he is also and really underrated pass blocker.

Round 2: Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina - Showing some love for the Tar Heels here with two picks in a row. Williams just adds to that interior defensive rotation and if Marks is re-signed I wouldn't be surprised if Williams beat him out in camp for a starting role.

Round 3: Cornellius Carradine, DE, FSU - Risky pick here because he's coming off an injury. But when you watch his tape the guy can be dominant.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Matt Elam's coach the same guy Mike Griffin had at Texas?

If I'm right about that I'd take Elam early because for 1.) Griffin came out hot as a rookie, and 2.) that coach said Elam was as good as anyone he's ever been around.

You must be damn good if the same guy Griffin and Earl Thomas were coached by in college says you're better.

We don't need a center. We need two guards.

Muschamp was at Texas '08 - '10, so he had Earl Thomas, but not Griff.

Roy Williams went 8th overall in 2002 so I guess 10th isn't too soon for Elam.

    Now I'm torn.

Yesterday I was all in to draft an offensive lineman at 10, now not so sure. Elam is a difference maker, but I don't like the idea of going safety with our 1st pick. I don't want to miss out again on the drafts best SS and end up with another Tank Williams.

While Elam would immediately plug into our starting line up... It would quickly depend on who was on the board. There is zero chance I would take Elam over Star or Te'o.

    I think we'll have a shot at 2 of the 3

Yea. And if either star or Te'o is there, I think they trump Elam.

If neither are there.. Trade back.

IF we are interested in Elam as our first, we can atleast trade back a few spots.
