Titans remember Ray Lewis the talker

    Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis is best known for his play.

    But he’s also a non-stop talker on the football field.

    “Ray Lewis had a different brand of trash talking, though,’’ former Titans tackle Brad Hopkins said. “When he trash talks, it was almost like your dad telling you that you didn’t do something, and I’m older than him.

    “He doesn’t talk about your mom or something like that. But he questions the heart of your competitiveness. He makes you wonder what you are doing standing on the field.”

    Former Titans running back Eddie George said he always had great respect for Lewis, who on Wednesday announced he’s retiring from the NFL at season’s end. He’ll reportedly join ESPN as an analyst.

    Former Titans receiver Chris Sanders said Lewis encouraged his teammates on the field, but had a way of intimidating others.

    “He talked a lot,’’ Sanders said. “He just let Eddie know he was going to take his head off. He’d let you know of you come his way, he’s going to hit you in the mouth.”

    Hahahaha. I went to find this to put on facebook. "Eddie George Trucks Ray Lewis" is the at the top of the predicted text when you type "Eddie George" into the YouTube search.

    I am afraid though I have to go all Kanye on the guy who made the video. Eddie George was not the greatest power back of all time. Great, but not the greatest. The greatest was Earl:
