Harper would be a great back if he wouldn't try to be CJ and dance around the back field.

Harper is a speed back with no speed and no shiftiness. Not good.

He's a speed back that needs the perfect crease to get anywhere. He doesn't break tackles. 7 games this season he has less than a 3 yard average. His season average is padded by the handful of good games he did have... 3 yards per Carry is average.

    W1 - 11 att. - 4 yards.
    W2 - 7 att. - 17 yards.
    W3 - 14 att. - 24 yards.
    W16 - 11 att. - 28 yards.

The game against the Jets he had 21 att. - 122 yards... His long from that game? 94 yards... So in reality dude produced 28 yards on 20 carries.... Yup. Lets feature this guy.

He only managed 41 rushing first downs... Fewest in the league. That accounts to 2.5 first downs from Johnson per game... What is that? 1 freaking drive?

Cj doesnt need a perfect crease, as fast as he is he just needs A crease, something that this offense has failed to due. Not only is the O-line an issue but our wr's are also terrible blockers. I am not saying that cj is perfect, yes he is a speed back but so was barry sanders. Im sorry but i dont want another Lendale White-2007,or even eddie george when we already have cj.

George would make this team much better than this current CJ ....

Like I've been saying; CJ is a side dish, I can't survive on mashed potatoes and green beans, give me some pork chops or steak!

Actually, "in reality" he had 21 carries for 122 yards. See, "in reality", 94 yard runs count just like all the other ones.

Not sure I agree with this statement. CJ has been one of the most productive backs in the league. He may not be a bruiser but i've seen him break his fair share of tackles. Guys like CJ are extremely rare and valuable; well rounded "power backs" are a dime a dozen. When I think of CJ I just think of that Gale Sayers video "6 inches of daylight, that's all I need".It's too bad his O-line was akin to running in an eclipse. I get where you're going but I CJ is no side dish.

He is a rare find, which is why we should preserve him and not slam him up the middle for no gains.

20 carries for 28 yards tho doesn't help the actual team tho. Yea that big run counts but when you start to break it down... If luck of the draw didn't have him bust that big one....

I realize this must be hard to understand.... o_O
