I'm glad this season is behind us and I truely feel like Bud, Ruston, etc. truely know we need players on both sides of the ball and there's no denying the fallicies with the team.

I'm expecting the Titans Organization to step up and be like pitbulls going after picks in the draft and FA's. Therefore, I have hope, and if I'm breathing my a$$ will be in my seat next year cheering them on. :headbang:

Well, he didn't technically wish death on him. Just stated the obvious.

I don't want Bud to die. But speaking strictly as a Titan fan, there's no doubt in my mind that this team is going to be off after he's gone.

Without him, we might not even have a team right now though. And for that, I'm appreciative.

Exactly I don't want the dude to die but to be honest it won't really effect me if he does and it will make my life better if he's not the GM of the team I spent 20% of my life reading about or watching. He's 90+, he's had a great life, some of you really rooting for the guy to live to 100?

Not rooting for anything in regards to his life. Also no guarantee things will be better when he is gone.
    Also, he's not the GM.

True, there's no guarantee things will get better when he's gone. But he's had SEVERAL decades to build a championship winning organization and he's failed time and time again. So I don't think we could do much worse.

But then again, I said the same type of things about Fisher and then we ended up with Munch. So perhaps I'm inadvertently arguing for your point. :irked:

Really, why? Name me the interference Bud has caused outside of Vince Young and wanting to sign Peyton Manning?

Bud just hires GMs and stays out of personnel decisions. He even hired MR to basically run the entire organization but apparently he didn't listen to Bud when it mattered (like Peyton). We clearly don't have a problem spending money on players, but we do seem to have a problem signing and extending the wrong players, and not re-signing some players.

I'm actually a little scared for what happens when Bud passes. This is Bud's team and it has been since day 1. He may not know what to do to get to a situation where he can win, but he cares about winning. That isn't always the case with franchise owners. The team might move, we might get someone who ONLY cares about the bottom line, etc, etc, etc.
