A noticeable, much improved team that doesnt get their asses handed to them every time they play a good team. To be in the playoff hunt in the last 2 games of the season (and i dont mean like we were when we lost to the Colts. that season was about schedule) A wildcard spot. We need to be the COlts, or the Bengals, or Washington, or the Vikings.

I believe that is reasonable if Locker develops and we make a few changes.

I do NOT expect us to be the Pats, or the Ravens, or Houston, or 49ers, or green bay, falcons, ect

I expect us to be respectable, even though we are not elite.

I do NOT expect us to be one of the jokes of the NFL no matter what happens next season.

A lot can happen in a year but mainly, Locker. His contract runs out in 2 more years. If Munch, and Locker suck next season, we move on from BOTH.

Coaches dont inspire confidence for me. The play on the field does. So Munchak has done absolutely NOTHING to inspire confidence that we will turn things around. I do feel that the right decisions this off season have the ability to put a product on the field that will, though.

Although I do believe we should go into next season on the path that we are, dont think for a second that I am a Munch fan. Im just giving him a chance considering the circumstances. Thats all. Nothing less and definitely nothing more.

That seems fair enough. I'm just past my point of giving this organization the excuses of "lack of talent" or "we got some tough breaks" or "they deserve one more year". I've been doing that at $10k/year for the past 10 years. It all seems like excuses to me now. I'm done paying for mediocre crap and the excuses that come with it.

I imagine I will be a much more patient fan when I have zero invested in the product. I can simply buy tickets when they are worth watching in person, to see the games I want to see, and still come out ahead on the cost.

And i dont blame you, I wouldnt be putting a dime into this team until they were at least fun to watch.

Your ROI (return on investment) is bad, no one stays in deals like that

I just want a coach who can fire up his players. Is that so much to ask?

    Missed this post

I think McCourty and Verner are capable corners that are used incorrectly. Griffin needs to be flat out cut and I have no idea what happened to Babs.

ALL I HEARD throughout the year is how good Casey and Martin are and how underrated Morgan is. Bull****, its flat out bull****. If we had those three guys doing there jobs Griffin would be a non factor and our corners would not look like toast. Wimbley was largely a disappointment. All four of those guys are replaceable in my eyes and a large part on why our defense was so poor.

This may go against the grain, but up until our line was getting torn apart by injuries, I actually think we could have a decent line. Hutch, Roos, and Stewart all underperformed, but I think it is a motivation/technique issue. Not one of those guys are built for the crappy scheme Mathews runs. This falls ALL on Munch, I love Wright, glad we got him, but we passed up LOTS of players to rely guys like Amano and Harris and not pick up anyone in free agency.

I think we have probably the best group of pass catchers we have seen in Tennessee. All of them had off years after coming off career years......wtf is that about?

I like griffin as a person, but they should examine him after he dies to figure out what happened to him.

Rotational guys, thats why id love to see a stud on the line. Itll help Morgan out a lot. Wimbley...... well lets just hope he figures it out next year. Agree with you here.

    Decent

Roos and Stewart will be fine imo. Hutch.... needs to retire. He did not play well imo last season.

I saw someone mention it before but it was one of those "what id do" threads. They said Roos/Steward, Levitre/womack, velasco and although I do NOT want to spend a 10 on an offensive lineman.... that did look very appealing

We need WR's. Then, and even now. We still need another WR. Wright in a couple years may very well be our Mason. I remember what a Mason does for a team and ill take that any day of the week.

Or he will get worse or we will have a QB who cant get him the ball and he will waste away.

They did pick up someone, Huch. They also went after 2 other centers, good ones if I remember. Just failed to get them.

As for all of it being Munchs fault, I guess if you want to say he picked bad coordinators, no one will disagree with you lol. But Palmer is gone, even though hes playing mind games with us with Gray. I see that he tried. As for whos fault it was to not get those FA's? Lets not forget who made those decisions. Much doesnt write out the contracts.

Putting everything into perspective, the playcalling, Jake Locker, and the offensive line. Even though Hass fell off at the end of the year 2 years ago, he got our wr's the balls for a while. . If the WR's are the same, the OC is the same, and the only things different are the oline and the QB, Id lean towards those being the biggest issues.

Did you guys realize we have 6 vacancies on the coaching staff?

We need a new offensive coordinator, QB coach, RB coach, TE coach, Special teams coach, and a LB coach.

We saw 7 coaching changes from 2010 to 2011, but that was because new head coach.

Munchak is really trying it seems to save his ass.

we have a new special teams coach.

Munch is busy getting in touch with his friend in kindergarten that gave him his extra snack pack to see if he wants the QB coach spot.

What does Munchak even do? It seems Gray/Palmer completely handled the D & O... I doubt he makes gameplans from what I saw in 2012-2013. Is his only job to talk to the media and pump up the players?

This is what will sink him if he fails. No excuses next year, he gets to pick his own staff.
