I agree with what most of you have said. I don't see us taking an o-line in top 10 overall. I see no way we don't get a D player. I don't really care what it is. We aren't special at any position. CB, S, or DT would be an upgrade.

Only issue with going DE in the 1st is who gets benched? Now I'm all for the best should start no matter what but...

-We just signed Wimbley to a big contract and it's doubtful they would bring him off the bench.
-That leaves Morgan, a former 1st round pick who really stepped up his game this year. I think some had him rated as one of the more productive DE's this year. Now with him finally healthy and improving week to week we bench him for a rookie?

The position could be better but do we spend a top pick on a position that really isn't that big of a need? At least at MLB you could say McCarthy has injury concerns and inconsistent play this year. I would love to have Werner for the record but at what cost?

I agree that trading back in the first is the most ideal situation, but if Star and the best OLB/DE's are gone by #10 and we can't find a good enough trade I would definitely be rooting for Milliner as the pick...the reason he didn't look that elite in the national championship game is because he was going up against a 6'6 TE who is ranked #1 in the nation...he still didn't let him catch anything while they were constantly testing him. Milliner is way better than you all are giving him credit for.

I don't know about most of you, but I view CB as just a big a need as any other position on our team(apart from G and S which are positions you wouldn't spend the 10th pick on). Verner only has one more year left on his contract and he would be such a beast as a nickel corner. Milliner will be a good pro. There's no doubt in my mind.

Here's what I want to see in this draft...

Obviously, FA is going to (hopefully) play a big impact. We have lots of holes, the draft can't do it all.

I see the Titans, particularly on defense, as a leaderless bunch that has a lot of solid to good players, but almost no, particularly on defense, SPECIAL players.

Picking in the 10 hole (I really wish we had lost to the jets and gaguars btw), We need to find a SPECIAL player on defense, particularly, one who has some great leadership prospects.

Star would be great, but he ain't gonna be there. Millner is fine, but I don't think he's great.

I like Manti Teo personally. I think he is a great player, and a great leader, that could really help this defense for years. Yes, he got owned the other night, but frankly, that team was overmatched all over the field.

He would not have been there at 10 three days ago. He might now. I think he'd be a great addition.

Barret Jones in the 2nd would be awesome too. I'd also really like to see the Titans get a back in the first four rounds this year.

I think teo is still a solid prospect, that game was rough on him but he's going to grow into a good MLB in the nfl. Maybe not with the titans but whatever.

I think warmack is the safest player at 10. Some good talent in the middle of the round tho. Could trade back and still pick up and extra 2 maybe and spread the talent. I'm down for either way actually.

Milliner can't handle speedy receivers. I'm not shocked or impressed that he shut down Eiffert because 6'6 or not he's a possession guy. I expected Milliner's physicality and athleticism to do the job. A receiver with speed and good routes changes a corner's whole game.

So I relised that we can realistically take care of the majority of our needs with a very few moves in Free Agency. If we can get LeVitre, Bryant/Melton, and any decent FA safety we are average to decent at every starting position on the team. After that all we need to do is add a 3rd DE, a Power HB, and some LB depth. All of our needs can be taken before the draft and allow us to go BPA for the whole draft.

The more I think about it, the more Dee Milliner makes sense. Rumor has it the Titans were interested in a CB last year at #20. Neither Dre Kirkpatrick nor Stephon Gilmore fell to us and I didnt want to risk using a first on Janoris.

What has changed? McCourty got a little better, Verner can't be a #2 CB. Nothing against Vern, but being 5'10 and average speed doesn't help. He's a NB. We have no depth. TC will never be anything other than a special teamers. Coty Sensabaugh could turn into a solid player, but he's still very raw.

Dee is a solid 6'1 198. Most people estimate we'll see a high 4.4 out of him. He finished with 54 tackles, 4 TFL, 1.5 Sack, 2 INTs, 22 PD... pretty solid. He's very agressive corner and draws comparisons of Charles Tillman.

If we could land a top OL FA, take Dee in the 1st, OG/SS in the 2nd/3rd. Resign Velasco. Maybe pickup some DE/DT FAs. I'd be happy with that.
