Michigan QB Denard Robinson won't be throwing any balls from under center, instead he'll be catching them from somene else.

I've been watching some footage of him at the Senior Bowl, and he looks raw, looks like a late pick to be honest.

And maybe it's just me, but I've always liked the thought of a receiver who could throw.

Damian Williams can throw, but he's no Denard Robinson.

Some are thinking 4th round for him, but we need our 4th pick to be good for us, so what do you guys think of taking this guy as a WR in the 7th round if he's there?

Could take him in the 5th? I think anything beyond that he will be gone. Dudes got giant hands. He'll be a good slot receiver if he has natural hands. Return man maybe. Package QB. Running back...

5-7th I'd take him if other pressing needs don't actually have a certain pick

I mean it's no secret we take projects with our late picks, Denard Robinson could be great in a year or two at WR.

Yea. There is upside that I wouldn't mind with a late round pick. Anything beyond the 4th pick in the draft I view as a gamble. And with those picks, upside is always key.

If we hit on rounds 1-3, I'm happy. Starters. Maybe a star. 4th round is the RB round to me, should probably take a RB in that round every year. And 5-7... Upside gamble picks. Very rare there are true starters available at that point in the draft.

Would be a good option as a return man, developement WR/QB. Seems to be a good guy as well.

    I'd spend a 7th on him anyday.

Seventh may be way too late. He is raw but an amazing athlete. I have always thought he looked like someone who would make a great kick returner. I think given the chance he will be a good receiver for someone. Would not be shocked to see him go as high as 4th round.

a 7th? Sure... maybe a 6th, but nothing more. He has terrible hands and can't even field a punt. He'd be nothing more than a trick player.

Maybe he would be better off moving to RB?

I could see him being an Antwaan Randle El type of player. A guy who gets a WR reverse and a couple of runs from the backfield, paired with WR screens, and also a returned. Although, Randel El had 10x better hands, Robinson can't even field a punt cleanly.

If we're looking for a return specialist, i'd rather risk a 3rd comp-4th on Tyrann Mathieu.

I doubt he's even available that late.
