Nope. Fisher re-hired Cecil after his hilarious attempts at becoming a DC.

He's not only overrated, he pretty much sucks. Look at the defenses he has led.

Where do you get that they will change their style? The Rams have drafted for a 4-3 defense the past several years. They have 4-3 d-linemen.

The Rams were 14th in both scoring and total defense last year a higher rank than Ryan's defense with the Cowboys.

I doubt if Ryan was hired to make any radical changes. They just needed an experienced guy and Fisher worked for his dad.

Webster is the personnel guy who drafts and signs players. Isn't that what a GM does? If he is not the GM then who is?

I already made another post where I said "they'll be sticking to a 4-3."

Which is why i quoted that first post 2X. You praised Fisher for "changing his style" when he is not.

Also we had posters jealous of the hire and bashing our organization for not getting him and then more sensible posters putting up Ryan's record as a DC.

All threads seem to run this way. Facts followed by whining, envy and then the facts tell a different story.

Romeo Crennel is still available for a DC position. His track record is better than Ryan's. He did a decent job as DC for the Chiefs and i doubt he will be holding out for a head coaching job.

Perhaps we could hire Crennel now 65 to an adviser position for Jerry Gray the way Tom Moore has been on the offensive side of the ball.
