Plus, there 2 best OL: Urbik & Levitre were set to be FAs. They resigned Urbik a month ago. Byrd, there best defensive player, and a Top-3 safety in the league last year, if also a UFA. Which means, they'll need to resign him. He can be ours.

okay well i had a whole list of players that would be free agents that could be on our radar or so i am hoping but my d@mn computer reloaded the page before i was done

from what i remember there was

roy miller, dashon goldson, laron landry, levitre, jammer, aqib talib and ill have to look it up when i got more time but from those names there are some solid players there

talib we could put a clause in that wouldnt hurt us to cut him if he got in more trouble off the field

but what do you guys think of greg jennings and trading britt possibly too?

Levitre and Chance Warmack could be our OGs for many years to come. Levitre is only 26! No more watching our Olinemen get blasted off the line or causing 3rd down False Starts. If we land those two along with Henry Melton and a FA SS, we will make the playoffs.

Would be ecstatic if this happened even though I hate going guard that high but watching our O-line was painful. What about moving Stewart inside to guard?

I thought this was a good read, decided to post it in here instead of making a thread.

This guy seems like he actually did some research on the Titans and knows what he's talking about. He lists, Safety, Offensive Guard, and MLB as our biggest needs. With us signing Kenny Phillips, Brandon Moore, and Kaluka Maiava those would actually be nice moves. Phillips didn't miss a tackle, Moore ranked top 5 in run blocking, and Maiava ranked positive in every category. I would love to have a Landry, Moore, Levitre, and whatever else big name to come in and help but these are the sort of moves expected from us. You throw in a Warmack/Star/Mingo pick and continue on with a nice draft then I think we're competing in 2013.

Also I thought McCarthy didn't play very well last year but didn't know it was that bad, even if we don't sign a replacement or draft someone high we definitely need to get someone in there for competition and depth.

I agree with that but I would list DT over MLB as our big need. We need to add a double team eating run stuffer to our defense. I want LeVitre, Phillips, Branch, and Freeney in free agency and then Ogletree, Williams (Alabama), and best guard available in the 3rd.

I agree but he was just going off his reasoning of McCarthy's performance and injury issues. I would much rather have a run stuffing DT than a new MLB.

So here is a new off season I would like us to do:

    QB:
    -Keep Locker as starter
    -Renegotiate Hasselbeck's contract

    RB:
    -Keep CJ (check)
    -Eddie Lacy in the 2nd

    WR:
    -Cut Hawkins
    -Bring back Preston
-Sign Louis Murphy (depth signing, can be someone else)
    -Draft a WR sorta late

    TE:
-Let Cook walk, obvious he doesn't want to be here
    -Sign Delanie Walker

    OL:
    -Sign Levitre or Brandon Moore
    -Velasco at Center
    -Draft Chance Warmack
    -Depth signings/later picks
    -Cut Amano

    DL:
    -Sam Montgomery in the 3rd
-Kyle Vanden Bosch 1 yr deal
    -Sign Glenn Dorsey

    LB:
-Simple, just add some depth in middle rounds and FA. I like none of our back ups.

    DB:
-Sign DRC (or someone along those lines)
    -Sign William Moore
-Draft Robert Lester in the 4th round range

    Summary:
I wanted to change up our usual draft picks a bit after round 1 to see what it would look like. We invest a lot of money in the OL but it's needed and having CJ/Lacy will become a dominating run offense. We spend more money than usual but Walker won't command a lot and I don't Dorsey will be getting a lot either. Moore and Levitre are the big time guys we bring in, both at the biggest positions of need. Montgomery in the 3rd might be a reach but with the depth at DE, players are going to rise and fall and Montgomery might end up falling. So even though we spend more money than we probably will in this scenario we help Locker by adding OL and another RB, while also replacing Cook. Our DL gets a lot nastier and our weakness in depth becomes a strength. We have some insurance when McCarthy goes down again, and bring in Lester for when Griffin gets eventually cut and we give him a shot.

    Thoughts?

btw this will never happen, just having some fun
