Fisher decides not to hire Rob Ryan

    Do Titans even want a shot at Rob Ryan? I know we are looking at Greg Williams so which is better? Greg Williams and Gray or Rob Ryan?

    The Rams have decided not to hire Rob Ryan as their defensive coordinator.
    Last week, the normally reliable Adam Schefter reported that the Rams had hired Ryan. Not so fast. "It wasn't a scheme fit," coach Jeff Fisher said. Ryan has historically run a 3-4 defense while Fisher prefers the 4-3. Now Ryan, who previously claimed he'd have a job within "five minutes," goes back to the pile. Perhaps he'll get an interview with Chip Kelly and the Eagles, who are in the market for an aggressive 3-4 proponent to coordinator their defense.

    Greg Williams is at least 100x better than Rob Ryan. Someone posted his numbers since he was a DC rencently. He has never been successful. Just because he has a big mouth and shoots it off it does not mean he is good. Do not be fooled by Ryan's shameless self promotion. He is not any good.

    JCBRAVE will rip me for this but I am going to say it anyway........... I would rather Gray over Rob Ryan........ Hurts to say it, but it is the truth. And Williams is way way better than Ryan.

    Wow Jerry Gray actually had a few good years points wise as a DC, so Rob Ryan might actually be worse somehow.

    Jerry Gray and Greg Williams had it going on in Buffalo for a few years at least. Gives reason to be optimistic for the possible reunion.
