I am kinda in favour of trading down. If we look at someone like the Chicago Bears at #20, they haven't got a lot of holes in their roster but are badly in need of some O-line talent. Based on the trade value chart for our #10 pick, we should get the Bears' #20 pick, their 2nd round pick and their 4th round pick. Now that would be a really good haul in an extremely deep draft.

This is another good idea but I'm not sure it's highly likely

So some think we might draft Z huh, well I can say without hesitation, this kind of player doesn't come along very often, and if you can get one, I suggest doing so.

But, and there's always a but, this isn't the guy we're missing. Believe it or not but Derrick Morgan and Kam Wimbley are a nice pair of ends, and taking Z still leaves us in need of a DT to put next to Casey.

I wouldn't hate this pick, but I wouldn't love it either.

We could also not gamble our 10th overall pick on a raw player and take Cornellius Carradine later, say in the 2nd...

Just as big and promising, but does have a repaired knee. Kinda the same thing to me. One guy is healthy but only [played football for 2 years vs another guy whos been around but just recently hurt.

    Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
Ansah entered the 2012 season without a single career start and a meagre 10 total tackles to his name. As under the radar goes, Ansah was a nuclear submarine. The Ghanaian native came to BYU on a track scholarship but soon took up football when coaches saw his supreme combination of size and speed. He played in all 13 games during his senior year, starting 9, and amassed 62 tackles, 13 tackles for a loss, 4.5 sacks and 8 quarterback pressures. At 6-5, 274 lbs, coupled with his background and late start in football, he draws comparisons to Jason Pierre Paul. He formerly ran the 200 meters in 21.9 seconds and scouts will hope such speed will translate as a defensive end in a 4-3 scheme at the next level. He’s understandably raw given his lack of experience but is a physical specimen that shows sky high potential as he learns the intricacies of his position. He’s obviously somewhat of a risky pick but he’s being projected as a mid-first round pick regardless of the fact he has less than 10 career starts. I personally would be hesitant to spend a high first round pick on Ansah given the depth of defensive lineman in this draft but he’ll head to Indianapolis with hopes of tempting a team following big performances in the bench press and forty yard dash.

The big DT is def a need. I've been one of the strongest proponents about that. However, I think Ansah is a legit top
ten talent with some major upside. First year he comes in on run downs and gets some study time and help from the coaches. I think you have to also look at the future with these picks.

The big DT isn't in this draft for us. But a future pro bowler DE or G is. I like the gamble in comparison.

    Michael Roos is a foreigner.

Who cares where the players are from if they can play?

    Ziggy can play.
