I fully understand some GMs are trying to work a way for some prospects to fall. But there are others that are point blank obvious also.

Yes, this could be bs but at the same time it could be true. Any team that met with him made up their own mind... How many teams are going to compare their notes to some other team???

Munch: Seems like a report came out that warmack is stupid.
Webster: never got that impression, who they tryna fool?

?? Is there really some insecure top team that would listen to an anon gm that warmack is dumb?

Maybe, it's worth trying if you have the 11th or 12th pick and looking for a Guard.

    Maybe. Juuuust maybe.

My thought is the consensus could swing to cooper as the top guard and warmack might fall to the team that actually wanted him.

I'm happy with a second round Warford. I don't think warmack or cooper is that much more special.

I'm warming up to drafting Fisher. He would allow Stewart to move inside to guard where I think he would excel only having to work in a phone booth plus he has some pulling ability and lateral movement being a former RT. This is in the case we plan to address the o-line baring another prospect we can't pass up falls. Who knows I mean I know Roos is still a top LT but ~3 years down the line Fisher slides right over into his spot.

I'd be pissed if we take Warmack at 10, he just seems very unathletic to me. Very similar to the tackle the Bengals took a couple of years ago, the one with the huge belly. Cooper I'd be more, than fine with at 10. He is crazy athletic and that movement/athleticism that we need especially if we continue zone blocking.

    Cooper > Warmack

in his defense, andre smith is the guy your talking about, was one of the top tackles in the league though last year. while he didnt play his first year, its starting to pan out for him

Yeah, that's the guy I was thinking of, thanks. I just see Warmack as another version of Smith and I'm not OK with that. Personally I'd rater draft Lane Johnson and groom him to take over for Stewart or perhaps Roos. I think both Stewart and Roos are UFA's in a couple more seasons, so we're going to lose one of them anyway in the near future. Larry Warford is very similar to Chance Warmack and he'd be available in the 2nd.

1st - Lane Johnson or Jonathan Cooper
    2nd - Larry Warford
    3rd- Brian Schwenke

O-line fixed in a single draft.

So you wouldn't be ok with us drafting Warmack and him later becoming one of the best guards in the league? I know it seems like a dumb question but that sounds like what you're saying.

I suppose in order for me to buy into your argument I'd have to consider Andre Smith to be one of the best Tackles in the league, and I don't. Would I be mad if we took Warmack and he panned out, of course not? I'm just saying that I believe there are better options out there.
