If we think about bringing in Wallace, its not because Wright didnt light it up. Its because Britt is so unreliable on being on the field that we need someone else to step in, whos proven and on the market. Wallace, Washington, Wright would be a deadly combo with CJ and Locker. That is if Locker can improve. Just having Wallace would spread the field even more, because u stack the box and Wallace beats u deep. That would help out the run game and Locker big time. I like what the Titans are doing now. Lets face it, years ago in the Fisher era, we all wanted WR's. We always brought in scrub, washed up vet WR's. Least this time we are trying to go for playmakers and get a better offense. The defense will find its way with Greg Williams and the young talent we have. A few peices here and there and our D is back to being solid.

I agree. MW could help us in a lot of ways, Britt just can't stay healthy

We drafted wright in hopes that he could stretch the defense and make something happen after the catch! At least I hope thats it b/c you dont draft just a slot guy in the first round! Wallace can do both those things!

I would still prefer having all of them - Mike/Kenny/Nate/Wright/D-Will - that is a WR corps with distinction and depth... No need to get rid of Kenny, he will be cheap to resign IMO.

This is what I have huge doubts about.....

    Mos Def!

I made a similar post last year, hoping I'd be able to pull it up too... Just sayin...

The unfortunate thing is that we did draft a slot WR in the 1st rnd. Wright is 5'10" and ran a 4.61 40yd at the combine. That is not stretch the defense speed. Sure at his pro day he was timed in the 4.45 range, but that still isn't burner speed.

Wright is a solid WR who can make people miss after the catch, but he is never going to just flat out run past you and defenses certainly aren't spending hours trying to devise a plan to stop him.

Great guy, but bad pick in that spot with the other talent on the board and the needs that we had.

Wright is a smaller WR and doesn't have great speed. He's really quick but doesn't have that top end speed like MW.

I still would rather have Jennings!!!

Amen! If we are serious about getting Wallace I'm all for it. It tells me that we are serious about getting Jake weapons and improving our offense. I don't like Wallace because he was a Steeler but I don't doubt that he can ball.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I'd rather have Wallace over Jennings. Wallace may be a one-trick pony but it's a trick our offense desperately needs. We have some guys with decent speed but nothing like Wallace.
