There are probably fans on half a dozen boards saying, "Eff ______, let him walk. I'd rather have Marks from the Titans."

We had like almost a record setting bad year on D... But leave it to free agency to 'over-rate' almost record setting bad....

As far as our DTs go, Marks even though started is not as high on my board as Casey and Mike, so him leaving open's up play time for those two.

I'd also like to add a 'good' big linemen to pair with Casey/Mike, I'm thinking a taller (6'4) and/or bigger (320lbs+) guy. I think that would really make us much better inside (and in turn outside/in coverage). SDM doesn't fit what I'd like, so I don't mind him going very much at all, especially when taking into account what teams might offer him...

Hhahahah you probably right bro, but would fans really be like I want the guy from the Titans after how bad our D was....

What many people forget is at the time he was drafted in 2009 they were trying to hype him up like he was going to come in and be Albert Haynesworth replacement.I think at the time Fisher thought they could plug him in at the same spot when Albert left and we were going to see big things out of him but it never happened and we basically wasted a second round pick.He had all this fanfare and stuff coming out of Auburn but three sacks in his time here and an average of twenty five tackles a year is way below what was expected by now.

I say let him walk.Hope Canty comes here i'd view that as an upgrade

Yeah i've read plenty of articles on free agency and in the comments section most of the time the question asked about Marks is who is he and is he any good, lol.

We were 6-10, there's no reason anyone should know him. If they do, I'm impressed, or disappointed, not sure which.

We have seen all Marks has to offer. Like Cook he is selling his potential because he really doesen't do anything good, or bad. He is just average. Been there done that: time to let these middle of the road players move on so we can fill these positions with up and comers who have something to contribute. Bye Bye Marky !

No way should the Titans be interested in him.

In the past this is the exact kind of player we keep. Very Average at best, and give him millions. Let him walk is the right thing to do. We can draft a guy just like him in later rounds
