Seriously I don't understand why Amano hasn't been shown the door. IDC if he saves us only 100k he needs to go and find a new 9-5 cause he would be out of the league if he wasn't with us.

    Are these numbers including Hutch?

If I'm reading this right were at 20 without Babs. Just used 12 to sign Levitre and Walker. That puts us at 8 I wonder how much Amano would give us back?

According to over the cap.com amano is 6 million with 4 million dead money. We would save 1.9 roughly against the cap. Someone should be fired to have ever given this guy that kind of deal. So we could sure use couple of more million. Also it says that the 12 million carry over is not in the 20 million number. So we had 32 or 33 million with the carry over if this is correct.

I still don't understand this roll over thing. I heard a lot of people on here talking about it but never seen a national writer or analysis talk about it with any teams cap space. Someone have a link about it?

Still 9.9 mil is better than 8 mil with that scrub. Do it. Hass will save us some as well and I don't think this had the Hutch retiring included which saves us 2.75 IIRC? So we could have about ~ 13 mil in space before Hass even restructures. I'm still ignorant to this roll over thing, if so we still have money to blow.

Amano will prolly be cut in the next day or two. Gonna wait til Levitre passes a physical before letting Amano go. Really like what we are doing

That makes zero sense. First of all Amano has a base of about 4 mil and cutting him results in about 4 mil of dead money. Which means we gain nothing by cutting him now in CAP. So take the emotions out of it and think this through. You go into camp with Amano and let him fight for the other OG spot. If he wins it fine. 4 mil for a starting OG isn't that bad (his base pay). If he loses it you can then cut him but even then he is a guy who can play OG or C and might still be worth keeping as depth (Mathews won't be back it looks like). So no, he isn't getting cut in the next day or two and it would be plain stupid to do so.

I agree. Amano is making WAY too much money for the production we get, but I wouldn't mind keeping his as depth. He would be a good back up, and can fill multiple spots on the OL. Like you said, our cap doesn't change much if we cut him.

Not that I would really care if we do cut him.

Unfortunally, his base is acutally 6 million. So, it would save us a bit under 2 million....No way we have a 6 million dollar back up. Plus everyone around the organization and media members all say and believe its just about a done deal that he will be cut. They signed him to be our center and Valesco is our new center, a better center, and at a third of the price. So yes, there is a good chance he does get cut...

After hearing more about the Levitre deal, with different bonuses, he will only count a bit over 4 million against the cap.
