This is just my opinion, but does anyone else think the way this offseason has gone really shows the FO has a lack of faith in Locker. First we get the best G in FA (this was really a no brainer though), another blocking TE (make 3 on the roster to help the run game), a complement to CJ (helps the run game), and trying to build an elite defense (especially if we get Dumerville, to keep the score low so JL doesn't have to win games with his arm). I know we have been trying to get a WR, but I think that's just to save cap from getting rid of Washington.

This has become a passing league and I think the focus this offseason shows that we are going for more run/defense type of game. I think this is because the coaches/FO are all in and have to win this year, and don't trust Locker to do it. I really like Locker and am really rooting for him, but this is just the conclusion I have come to.

On the flip side, this strategy has worked for the 49ers and Texans though and maybe the FO is just trying to follow that mold. Anyway I like the moves they have been making and really the only thing I care about is W's. I don't care if Locker sucks all season as long as we keep getting those W's.

I do not believe it shows a lack of confidence in Locker. I think it shows a sense of desperation in our FO to go all out and keep their jobs. The plan to go back to the Dinger offense we had of 09' and 10' just shows a system that is more player friendly and makes things easier on Locker. Before Vince got hurt in his last season here we had the number one scoring offense and I think now we can be better than that with these acquisitions.

This team has talent we just need to have the chemistry to come together and I think bud knows his time is running out. No reason for him to hold back now. Jake has great work ethic and is a good student. I think he will calm down behind a more dominant and confident line and that's why we should solidify that unit with Warmack in the first. What better way to develop and put confidence in your teams most important investments (CJ and Locker) than to put them behind the best line in the league.

Bud is tired and the fans are tired. It's time for this franchise to make a statement. And one that doesn't stand for anyones BS. It's time for the Titans to make a stand and dominate this devision and the teams we despise. I'm talking to you Baltimore, Pittsburgh, New England, and San Diego. Your time is up and it's time for Titan Nation to make a stand. Things are taking a turn for us and it's about f****** time. GO TITANS!!!

Don't get me wrong, I really hope I'm wrong and that's the case. Just from my opinion though I think Jake has a lot to do with the moves we've been making.

If they really trusted Locker I don't think they would have made these particular moves and have us facing cap hell in a couple years. If they really trusted Locker they would have gone a lot harder after more pass catching options instead of blocking/defensive options.

I think Webster is a little bit smarter than Floyd Reese and I do not see him allowing that to happen. We have players that could fall off in the next few years. We cut CJ and Griffin. That is a ton there. This team seems to be transitioning to a more proactive FO and I hope that means they know how to stay one step ahead of the rest of the league.

I cannot STAND posts like this.

Great teams, are complete teams and if we hadn't done anything, it would have reflected poorly on this organization. You don't have your QB carry your team on his back until he has achieved the level of Rodgers, Manning, or Brady. At the start of their careers, they were engulfed in talent. Locker is on the exact end of the spectrum. The Titans did exactly what they SHOULD have done last year and surround him with talent.

You want to know what happens to QBs that carry their team? They have sternums that look like swiss cheese.

I'll give you this, idc how many moves we make its still all on Locker. It's a qb league and we'll go as far as he takes us.

But beefing up the line for cj and adding green helps our young qb. Nothing helps a young qb like a great running game
