I played CB as well, and we broke the TN record(5A) for most shutouts in a season...I realize that pass rush is equally as important because the 1 game we lost was due to our pass rush not getting the same pressure as they did all season, but it was also because our secondary didn't play that great either. If we would have played better, it wouldn't have mattered that our d-line wasn't getting to the QB.

My whole point is that secondary talent goes hand in hand with pass rushing talent in order to have a successful defense...

And yes, I've seen our CB history...if I recall Pacman Jones won us a number of games by himself...yes, he ended up being a no good thug, but he did win us games while he was here...

And also, do you know how it sounds when you say Campbell is good enough, but he just hasn't played good yet??! He's had 2 seasons to play well. If he hasn't done it yet then there's no way we should just keep him on the field and wait on him to play goodwhen we're trying to compete.

Plus, CB is way more talented than DE in this years draft if you ask me...That on top of the fact that I think Wimbley and Morgan(and Ayers) can hold it down(while us not having to worry about them leaving via free agency) is why I say go CB over DE in the first couple of rounds...

Don't get me wrong, we NEED another DE that can actually contribute, but we need another CB more IMHO.

No, I don't care much for the corners in this class and the talent pool in the first three rounds are very similar. Probably the worst time I can remember to have a top 10 pick. I like alot of the players, they just don't fill much of a need.

Or if you are refering to Ansah, no I am not a fan.

Werner is like Morgan, an all around solid DE but nothing special.

Your statements are much too bold to be correct.

Yes a good D-Lineman is more significant than a DB, but we don't have 3 NFL worthy CB's at this time, you need about 4 to survive in this league, so yes a highly talented CB is a high priority.

I really like milliner and Rhodes, in that order. One of them or ansah imho.

    Warmack/Cooper
    Rhodes
    Patterson.

Either of the guards would be fantastic. I think Rhodes will have a better career than Milliner. Milliner will be solid, but you can chalk up a portion of his success to the incredible front seven that Bama has. Patterson. Anyone who has read my posts in the CP threads knows how I feel about that ;)

And what Rhodes had no one at FSU making him look good?

Rhodes definitely does! Just not to the extreme extent that Milliner did with Bama..

Both guys are great additions, and I'd be happy with either one. Something about Rhodes just sticks out to me a bit.. call it a hunch lol, I could easily be wrong.
