Here's the problem. Vaccaro is a FS, and we have Griffin getting paid $$$. Although I believe he would be a huge upgrade at the position, we dont take him and have Griffin sit. Trust me I'm all for Griffin getting cut, bet he ain't this year.

IDK why I'm encouraging this thought, BUT rookie 10th picks don't cost much.

I don't think paying a soon to be great DB $900k will keep Ruston Webster from taking Vaccaro if he feels he's BPA when we pick.

He picked Kendal Wright last year, so we never who he's looking at.

I'd say with the signing of Pollard this is much less likely now, but.........................

We only signed him to a 1 year deal. If they like this guy they may go for him to develop with all these veteran safeties we have. Titans usually go for some off the wall pick.

We will definitely be drafting Safety, CB, DE, and OL in this draft. I hope we go DE in the first round (not Ansa), though if we traded down and drafted Trufant in the mid 20's I wouldn't hate that idea either.

griff wont be hear to much longer and if he sucks again he could come in and take over for him...im all for drafting him and have been for awhile now and just because we got pollard and wilson doesnt meant much since we only got them for one and two year deals...im still game for vacarro and elam in one and two...

im hoping actually that we trade griff for a 3rd or so and trade up and take elam in the 2nd along with warford so we would have our two safety spots set up for the future with vacarro and elam

then we would have 4 starting safeties on our roster...Not happening.

We're going DE or OG IMO.

I know the Titans want to take at least one safety in the draft, plus we have Markelle coming back this year who will basically be a rookie. Now with the signing of Pollard after we signed Wilson a month earlier, do you guys think Ruston might be thinking of working a trade for Griff?

I know we all think he's awful, but for some weird reason people around the league think he's good. If we could package him and get a pick out of it I'd say go for it.

The only reason why I would say yes to this is because it would almost guarantee Griffin being gone, unless Vaccaro plays SS. I don't think Safety is a 1st round issue right now and I don't think the Titans have the luxury of using a 1st round pick to just stash him on the bench. The guys we draft this year (at least the first few picks) need to be impactful and come right in and help. Starting OG, dominate d lineman, CB that cracks the top 3, and even a WR that could start over Washington.
