    Now I have got to finish Peace Walker to know what the hell is going on.

    haven't played since MGS3. 2 and 3 were mindblowing. I think 2 was the one I really got into, with the patriots. 1st one, i never got into, because the graphics looked terrible by the time I played it.

    Do you need to know Peace Walker to know what's going on? I haven't played PW yet (and haven't seen the trailer yet).

    Apparently this takes place after Peace Walker but I doubt it is essential to following V's story. I'm just a junkie.

    I have the HD collection and Peace Walker is on it. I just ain't played it.

    I got the HD collection for free on Vita but it doesn't come with PW so I'll have to wait for that.

    From my (limited) reading, it takes place before and after (Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain)
