I realize that the question is player specific, but with JJ Watts facing our O Line at least twice a year I'd like to hear what you think. I personally beleive that we can find a starting guard in the second round, but I wouldn't go any later than that.

    I honestly have no idea.....

I really want Ogletree as everyone knows, but I am not 100% confident in passing up on Cooper/Warmack. So I really would not be upset if we went that way. Unless Jordan falls, I am not really wanting a DE that early either.

So really, only about 4 people I want at 10. About 10 I can live with, and everyone else is just kinda bleh.

I would have no problem going defensive playmaker in the 1st and then OL in the 2nd. I would target Warford or Long in the 2nd. I like both for different reasons. I think Warford is more of a mauler who has decent feet, but he is only a guard. Long has the frame and ability to shift to RT in the future if needed. It really depends on who is available when we pick. I can't see the #10 pick being anything other than OG, DL, CB.

I'm off the guard at 10 bandwagon for good now. Heard a crazy stat, in the last 25 years only one guard has been taken in the top 10 picks (1997). The value for the position just isn't there and IMO the drop off from Warmack to Warford is minimal.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them wait until the 3rd round. I think they will take Brian Winters from Kent State there. It seems like they've met with him like 3 or 4 times since the East West Shrine game and really have an interest in him.

If I was a betting man, I say we go defensive playmaker at 10, WR at 40, or vice versa.

I mentioned this in another thread, but have you been to the video section to the Titans official site lately? There are like 3 or 4 Cordarrelle Patterson videos on there, way more than any other prospect. Obviously those are just videos, but I'm wondering if it's a hint as to what they're thinking. . Not saying I like or dislike that idea, but I wouldn't be surprised if it happens.

I've been on the Warmack train for a while, but I think I just hopped off in the last couple days. Right now my dream draft is 1. Star 2. Patton 3a. Travis Frederick 3b. David Amerson

I'm in the same boat... i'm on the "get a defensive playmaker and OG Rd 2 or 3 train" now

we need to solidify our offensive line to have a good season, but luckily this is a draft where we can have our cake and eat it too. guards in general go later, that's just the way it goes, and fortunately for us Guard is one of the top priorities, we're not necessarily looking for those at 10. the remaining holes we have to fill on our team can very easily be tackled in this draft using our 4 top 100 picks if done correctly, and taking a guard at 10 would be mistake number one. Why do that when you can get the equivalent of that much later? We have chance to not only fix our offensive line, but get a defensive game changer on top of that.

Were going DL then Guard, book it.

We can do BOTH. Take a defensive playmaker in the first and take a guard where they should be taken, in the third round.

I've been pimping Barrett Jones with our third round pick for months.

Stealing him in round three is just as important as our first two picks IMO.
