I think some people are forgetting just how bad our line was last year. Levitre doesn't solve all of our issues. And you know what will help the defense? The offense being able to sustain drives and stay on the field. They can sustain drives by having a line open holes for CJ and Jake having time to throw. This pick helps both sides of the ball

 

That logic is so Wack. I like Warmack pick, but by that logic you would agree with all the teams passing someone like Calvin Johnson, Rodger, Brady. Just because the other teams passed on them doesn't mean they aren't good at all.

 

Except that he is the best player on the board anyway you slice it. Who else was considered a damn near surefire hall of famer? Warmack was one of the highest rated players in the whole draft. Flyod's stock only went up after the combine, Star was the guy forever before the heart condition surfaced. How quickly people forget.

They could have dropped another 20 picks and still got him.

 

I'm just saying everyones drinking the Floyd and Star kool-aid because ESPN force fed it to them. The people who ACTUALLY have a stake in the draft are the ones that are showing they aren't as good as ESPN advertised. Oakland just passed on Floyd twice, hint hint.

There's a reason Kiper and McShay don't work for any NFL team..

 

Warmack is one of the best guards to come out in awhile. Levitre is already top guard in the league. Roos and Stewart are both great tackles. And we have a lot of depth now as well. I see no reason we should not have an elite oline if people stay healthy
