Jake Locker's Play vs. Texans

I love how every week (dating back to last year when he started) we have the exact same discussion. Nothing has changed folks. He occasionally throws a few nice passes but he's too inconsistent to take over a game.

 

Who calls tails on a coin flip? You always call heads, Jake, COME ON MAN.

He played well enough to win I thought, despite poor play from the offensive line in pass protection, a few drops and the not-so-reliable kicker we have. That incomplete on the slant was killer, though.

 

Jake missed a lot of passes he should have hit. There's really no other way to look at it for me. It's not all his fault by any means, because the play calling was atrocious. Predictable, no play action, just lame. And we have the weapons.

 

Run Run Pass Punt..... I wonder if the chargers d coordinator knows what is coming next sunday

That punter from houston was phenomenal today. he kept jake throwing from his own endzone. i was getting pissed I just wanted to see jake get more chances in open field. Im sure alot less 3 and outs in open field. The pass to britt in stride from the endzone was nice to see even tho it came back.

 

We have not been lucky in finding a Qb after McNair because Locker is not the answer. We need a pure pocket passer because Locker is bringing down this offense with the weapons we have.

Ya'll keep making excuses for him every week. Time to realize he's terrible.
