Our whole offense has been under-performing, but outside of Locker he has been our most productive player. I don't see what is so fluky about what he does in the passing game, he has been a home run threat his entire career. Why should we be so surprised when he hits one? Because the game was lost anyway? That's irrational thinking.

Well he was averaging over 4 YPC against the 49ers. And counting his receptions as production isn't skewing the stats, its considering other ways he can contribute to the offense. Do you ignore Locker's ability to run when evaluating what he brings to the offense? Ignoring those stats do more to skew his evaluation.

We're not disqualifying his receptions. Sheesh you people are dense.

The running game is the primary goal of the running back. It's wonderful that he was getting 4 YPC against the 9ers... But they weren't pitted to stop him. They knew once we were down we would be forced to throw the ball. They let us have the running yards because the target was now Locker. If you go back and watch some 22 film you will see this.

Back to the point, we just want consistent yards. CJ is not consistent unless it's 1-2.

2 screen passes don't fix the big picture.
