How about our offense yesterday with a short field after Brown's pick? Kicking a field goal on a drive that started in the red zone = hard to watch!

I assumed at that point we would lose. Good thing Janikowski had an off day, otherwise we would have.

If we get inside the 15 I see nothing wrong with just throwing the ball up for grabs to Hunter three straight times. It's a hell of a lot more likely to work out than two Shonn Greene runs.

Did Greene trip over his own feet on one of those runs and loose a yard?

He definitely missed the hole on the second run. Warmack actually got to the second level and blocked the defender(shocking) and it would have been pretty close to a touchdown. Greene cut it back left instead and ran into a wall.

quote="Fry, post: 1112608, member: 1381"]What happened was Pittsburgh, New York, Kansas City and Seattle just aren't very good offensively. I mean, St Louis and Jacksonville put up what we would normally allow, around 20 points. The offense gave Jacksonville 9 points.

[The offense wasn't turning the ball over in the first half of the season either. Amazing what having a short field can do for the opposing offense.[/quote] This point is the one big difference I will give on the LBs. C -Mac definitely had more short fields to work with no doubt.

absolutely.... i re-watched the game in condensed mode yesterday night and i remember that run by Green very well... I have no idea why he turned left at the very end when behind Warmack (by design) was open...

Foku is better. Look at our defense as a whole with each one. The stats don't lie.

Maybe Fokou is a better defensive "coach" when on the field. Putting the players in position and such.

But I think Colin has more skill and doesn't make that stupid penalty... but, the defense, as a whole, might be better with Fokou.

Oh stats can be very misleading and deceiving. Fokou is not the better player and should not be starting. He failed to get us lined up every play on the final drive we gave up to the colts.
