    From columnist David Climer …

INDIANAPOLIS One of the things that contributed to defensive breakdowns for the Titans late in the game was a failure to get lined up properly when the Colts picked up the tempo.

Only once during that 11-play, 92-yard drive did the Titans force the Colts into a third-down situation. The Colts scored a touchdown that made it an 8-point game with 1:56 to play.

“We just have to man up our defense. We know what they’re doing. They know what we’re doing,” outside linebacker Akeem Ayers said. “Earlier in the game, it’s a slower pace. We need everybody to communicate. If one person is not on the same page as everybody else, it’s a big run.”

Ayers did you even play in the game? Wait I don't recall your name ever being called. I always seeing you running after the guy who just burned you. Please hurt yourself at home and never come back here. Your a waste of a pick. Your slow, you can't cover anyone, you always miss the rb, and you can't get off blocks. How did you even make LB...o yeah that's right all the Titan lbs suck...you haven't earned a paycheck since you been here. Wannabe

Why not call a timeout to regroup on a drive like that? Basketball teams do that all the time time to slow the other team's momentum. Stopping the clock would have also helped.

You regroup, get the right people in there something to stop the bleeding.

    I'm sorry, he's quite right...

Ayers sucks hard in run-support and he's hardly a gem in pass D... He was supposed to replace The Bull, no where close to 53, can't even hold his jock-strap....

Either you crash the line and get to the runner or you finesse your way there, well Ayers gets thrown back like a rag doll instead... When he does actually make a play, I'm like WOW!

You know what sucks is that LBs in aggressive defensive schemes are often the biggest playmakers - that is hardly the case with our crop... LOL remember were saying it could be our strongest unit, we were off big time. Even worse, tThe D-line has done an incredible job tying up linemen and causing havoc and the LBs are running (about as free) as you can be, and they are still not making plays...

I'd definitely be looking to replace Ayers and Fokou next year - Zach still gets more time. 2014 draft needs definitely include MLB and ROLB if you ask me....
