Greene flagged for ‘talking trash’

    INDIANAPOLIS Running back Shonn Greene worked hard against the Colts, bulling for 39 yards on 10 carries.

    But he also cost the Titans with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty following an 8-yard run in the third quarter.

    An excited Greene jumped up and cheered in front of Colts safety LaRon Landry, his teammate with the Jets last season. Officials thought Greene was too excited.

    “I didn’t touch him, and we were both talking back and forth,” Greene said. “And they throw a flag. But that’s football. I guess they throw the flag for talking trash in football now. It was just my competitive nature, but I guess you have to be smart about it.”

    Before the game was even started the refs were told to ensure the colts win. Noone wants to see the Titans play and I don't blame them. The media wants to run Luck stories we don't have anyone to write about.

    You guys really need to give this stuff up. The refs didn't let the Colts drive 92 yards with the game on the line. They didn't make the ball bounce into the Colts' hands after three fumbles. They didn't make George Wilson drop the easiest INT I've ever seen. They didn't make Ryan Fitzpatrick have a Fitztragic day.

    I personally didn't think Greene was in position to talk any trash today... If gaining under 10 yards is means for talking trash, then so be it.
