A Mock Titans off-season thread

If we sign Cutler I'm done with this team until he is gone. He is by far my least favorite QB in the NFL.

 

I don't really disagree with much of what you're saying, aside from him not being worth a damn. Still, I think you could do a lot worse for a stopgap QB. Just don't expect him to be your franchise QB for years to come.

 

I'll admit, I can be irrational when it comes to Jay Cutler. I just hate the guy. It would kill me seeing him line up behind center for the Titans. I would have to find another team to root for while he's our starter and I don't want to do that.

 

This post is the reason why we need the "it sucks' option returned.

I'm having a seriously hard time talking about this, AGAIN, so soon after just doing it.

I dont even know if I'll pretend to know whos worth drafting, not like it'll matter any, as we're the Titans and suck at life.

Now if we fire Mike Munchak, I will be totally revitalized and ready to talk coaches, draft, and 2014.

 

We'd currently be 12th with Denver, Arizona, Jax, and Houston remaining. Denver is a loss, ARZ has the advantage over us, and Jax/Houston are toss ups. What's funny, if the season ended today - Houston would be #1 and Jacksonville #2 and we lost to both of them.

I'm assuming we'll end up at best 7-9, which was 11-15 last year. Louis Nix (DT), HaHa Clinton-Dix (S), Khalil Mack (LB), Taylor Lewan (OT), C.J. Mosley (LB), Cameron Erving (OT), and Trent Murphy (DE) are some names that stick out.

 

I like Nix(DT) or Mosley(MLB) for our first round pick

 

I agree with having to cut Fitz, Wimbley, and Stweart. But not CJ. His salary goes down next year and we can improve our oline some more. There are no realistic options out there that we can get to replace him. After a bad year he still is top 12 in the league in yards and has done better with shwenke in.

Realistic offseason is to resign: Verner, Pollard, Pitotioue?, and I like Mariani.
I really hope we are able to get Michael Oher. He is a TN guy and Baltimore cant resign him. He was a dominate RT until they moved him to the left side which messed him up. He can come back in a dominate on the right with Chance.

Our draft needs to consist of MLB, DE, and T.

 

I agree with everything except for keeping Mariani. We need to keep Washington. He is the all time NFL leader in kick off return TD's.
