I think Munchak deserves another year. I'd like to see some minor shake ups and to keep the team in tact. Draft or sign a QB to start/compete and get another D tackle to give Casey more help.

Think the line would improve with another year together and Shonn Greene and CJ could be effective in the running game. Loggains is still very young and has called some good games early in the season.

Half the people on here were down on the season before, don't know why their somehow dissapointed. Some of us thought we'd be really good.

We're close to having a really good team.

3 years, and nothing to show for it....I don't want to hear anything about bad players on offense either. Lack of motivation, conservative play calling, predictable play calling, and not holding players accountable is a factor. A quality head coach would not be 1-9 against division teams. A quality coach would not get beat 2 years in a row to teams without a win, or take 2 back to back losses at home during a playoff run. Fans are sick of it. The offense isn't amazing, but it is servicable enough to win games that they should have.

You thought they underachieved against Seattle and the Chiefs?

We've competed against some of the best. We've dropped some we should've won and I think that's what everybody is focusing on.

I'm sure everybody thinks it sucks.

I like what I see on Defense, and I think with a good draft and maybe some trades or pickups, that we can be competitive moving forward, just not with the current coaching staff....

As long as it scares the livin' crap out of the players into doing their job, I wouldn't think it's a problem LOL

It's clear that our intentions as a team are not well known. We are going to let one of our biggest rivial; the texans, go thru all the available head coaches. They will pick the best one, then other teams like the Vikings and the Bucs will hire the next best of that group. After the true quality coaches are spoken for; we will pounce and fire M.M. three and a half weeks after the season is over. We will hire some washed up coach and will act like we have moved great mountains to improve our team. God help the Titans. . . .

I think a lot of variables come into play when it comes down to how well an NFL franchise is able to compete.

First is ownership there are some teams out there who have owners who care and do whatever it takes to bring in the right GM's,coaches, players, etc. and there are some teams who have owners who really don't give a flip whats happening as long as the team is making money.

Second after ownership is the GM because whoever that guy is he will be putting together not only the roster through free agency but also picking players in the draft and also may be the one who brings in all the coaches the team hires.

Third is the coaching starting with the head coach after all this person will be running the team for the next few years and also bringing in a lot of his own guys some maybe talented and some may really leave you scratching your head wondering how they made it to the NFL.

Last are the players themselves that actually put their bodies on the line and do whatever it takes day in and day out year after year and those that are the most talented especially at the QB position will be a huge factor in if a team will truly be able to compete or be at the bottom of the cellar.

With the NFL and the way parity is these days it doesn't take long at how to climb back up into the mix once you've been losing for awhile. Some teams no matter how hard they try end up stuck in mediocrity 7-9 or 8-8 year after year.

This organization doesn't know to play the game (tank for a top pick, fire the coach and/or GM and start fresh. That's how a downtrodden team increases chances for success.

But we hang around 7-9 limbo and go NO WHERE.

Yeah seems like we are stuck in a vicious cycle of mediocrity around 7-9ish and always that team that picks from the 12th to 18th spot year after year.Sucks to see a team like Indy compete for over a decade stink one year for the top pick and reboot for another decade run.

Also teams like Seattle that get lucky on a QB with the 75th pick in the 3rd round like they did with Russell Wilson. Now with the way they are managing their cap and picking good in the draft they have many good players that are barely taking up any cap space so they are able to add more guys in free agency like Percy Harvin,Cliff Avril,Michael Bennett.Seattle are going to be good for at least a decade if Wilson continues to play well.

It also sucks to see teams that used to suck like Cincinnati and Detroit pick good in the draft and get good help at QB and be right back in the playoff mix meanwhile we continue to pick guys like Vince Young and Jake Locker who either don't care enough or end up getting hurt all the time and we've wasted a decade between those two players. If we could get us a good QB in the draft the rest will fall into place.Seems like we put together a pretty good roster we just can't seem to find a QB that can get us over the 8-8 hump.
