I saw that play - perfect hit. Total BS to have flagged that. I know Pollard is a marked man but there was nothing at all wrong with that play IMO

That's a good point that needs to be considered too. When you play the way Pollard does and basically say "I ain't changing the way I play for nobody" then you are rarely/never going to get the benefit of the doubt in those situations. Not saying I have a problem with the way he plays. I love it. But this kinda stuff just comes with the territory.

Putting Pollard and Griffin under the microscope is like a bounty program for the refs.
While the bad calls do not "cost us the game" it does make the game unwatchable.
Decker running his mouth to our sideline while Griffin was injured should have bought him an unsportsmanlike penalty. Or an ejection.
    Ejections should be more common.

In this officiating climate, there really is no reason to play the game. Just let Manning and Brady have an AFC duel, and shorten the season.

Or, we can have a boycott program established in which fans mail receipts for the products of competitors to companies whose commercial airs after a bogus call.

    Pollard, known as dirty
Griffin, recently suspended for a game

    Williams, bounty gate

Of course we are under a microscope lol

    NFL-National Flag League.

Spend more time on penalties, reviews, and replays than they do on the sport. It's not even a sport, it's just the stuff they show in between the ample commercial breaks.

Wait til Warmack gains his confidence, he's going to wreck guys every play. He's still uncertain on some stuff, so there's hesitation.

Maybe. I'm just saying I think Lotulelei would've made a more immediate impact on this team than Warmack has. A better, more consistent pass rush possibly could have been the difference in turning a couple close losses into wins.

Oh well. Like Locker, Warmack was "Munch's guy" so he'll live or die by those decisions.

Oh I agree 100%, but over time Warmack will show to be the better player.

Maybe this makes it better, if Star were here, we'd maybe have a winning record, and definitely have Munch back in 2014. But by taking Chance, Munchak is facing losing his job. So in retrospect it was a good pick, because in just 3 weeks we'll have a better coach.

There should be something said for momentum. This occurred when we were very much in this game. I didn't see anyone say this play cost us the game, but it was a bad call and changed the game in some way. The refs called a good game for the most part, but that was a blatantly bad call. I like it that Munchak and Pollard said that. That needs to be said more often. I've watched a lot of games this year (not just the Titans) where the officiating was terrible. It needs attention. I'd like to see the referees take the podium after a game.

And, as for the "coddling", it's getting to the point where I don't even want to watch football, any NFL football anymore. I like football, not ballet.

I'd be a lot more sympathetic if this were a close game. But when you're talking about a 51-28 beatdown I say "momentum schmomentum".

I do agree that I'd like to see the refs take the podium. I'm not trying to defend or excuse poor officiating. I'd just like for everyone to acknowledge for once that the Tennessee Titans aren't the only team who finds themselves on the wrong end of bad calls. Or the only team that has to play within the new pussified rules of today's NFL.

Again, I thought the Pollard hit LOOKED really bad. So I can kind of see why they threw the flag. I wish they would've picked it up but they didn't. When you take into consideration who the penalty was called on and his reputation as probably one of the top 2 or 3 "headhunters" in the entire league, well you just aren't going to get the benefit of the doubt very often. You aren't doing yourself in favors in that department when you publicly call out the league/officials and say "Too bad. I ain't changing for nobody".

For the record, I love Pollard and his style of play. But this kind of stuff does come with the territory.
