See how far we have come since 2012

JC, good work putting this together. However, there's only one stat line that counts and that's wins/losses. Going from 6-10 to 7-9 isn't much of an improvement. With the talent on this team, getting 10 wins shouldn't have been a problem this year, especially since we're in the worst division in the NFL.

 

You can say that 9-7 was good, but I would counter with what could have been that season with better coaching. Yeah we beat Ravens early, but that was all Kenny. The games that pissed me off were against the winless Colts and the halftime lead against the Bengals. There was no excuse to drop that game to Colts and it ultimately screwed us over. Also up 17-7 at half v the Bengals and giving the game away. A good coach doesn't let that happen and it has seemed to happen a lot with Munch. No adjustments at all. With a decent coach we would have been in the playoffs that year.

 

Did not make the playoffs in the last two years so we are still in the same position going forward in my opinion, actually worse off if we keep Munch and Co coaching this team.

 

Like who?

 

The people who are saying "we improved from last year" as a reason why Munch should be back. On my phone now and don't recall specific names/posters. But it's been said several times over the past few weeks.

 

Great, so instead of a dumpster fire, we are merely a flaming wastebasket.

No wonder this franchise is an NFL afterthought. Why should anyone nationally care about us when we accept mediocrity?

From the regular posters here, there would literally be 1 or 2 who actually want to keep Munch. The rest either want him fired, accept he is most likely coming back or looking at reasons why TS wants him back.

 

Interesting article with an interesting stat. Munch has a 3-20 record against teams with a winning record. Even then, his wins come from sad teams. Article here:

that statistic you mention should be the reason they fire him alone from all the other reason other posters mention!
