What chaps my azz is that the goal has been to improve and hopefully make the playoffs. What a "loser" mentality. The patriots, steelers, colts(ugh), ravens, , etc shoot to WIN the Lombardi. Yeah they take it one game at a time and the fans know only one team a year does it but they also know that their FO leadership has experience winning it all. It makes the down years tolerable for them.

The Oilers/Titans culture has been yo barely get to the playoffs and choke. Save for the early mcnair days we've never had that killer- finish em ideology.

 

I think Munch would be wise to get Dowell to draw up some more designed QB runs for Jake next year. If we're using QB health as an excuse, it would buy him 2015 as well.

I am beginning to wonder if Munch can do ANYTHING right...He destroyed Special Teams with both coaching and player decisions, he can't get the OL right, Conservative boring play calling with average supporting coaching staff, and an Ultimate goal of "Making the playoffs" as opposed to winning a Superbowl. But I guess we should give him 10 chances because he is so nice and loyal before we pull the plug....

agreed, and call me crazy for always saying this but we should have never cut lagarette Blount!!! In my opinion thats the biggest under the radar move that could have tremendously helped us. We wouldn't have needed to overpay shonne Greene and would have had a nasty, "**** everybody" type of runner to compliment CJ.

 

Exactly...There is not 1 reason this team should NOT have made the playoffs with the opportunity given to them this year. The losses to crap teams at home, bad coaching/playcalling etc is unacceptable. I don't want to hear about injuries because every team deals with them and overcomes it if they are contenders. To act like Munch has done something good is ridiculous. THANK GOD the front office gave him 100 million or they wouldn't have been 7-9...And lets be honest, they are only 7-9 mainly because the last 2 games were pointless, don't let the stats fool you. Eagles went from 4-12 to 10-6...With basically the SAME team...Chiefs turned it around, Chargers are in with major injuries, etc..Don't give me this crap about how it 'Can't" be done with new coaching. Roll the dice

 

Nobody said Superbowl buddy, His Ambitions and GOAL should be a Superbowl. Please give me a good rational reason outside of the QB being hurt as to why we should keep Munch? Have you seen their record? Their wins and losses? The lack of development on the team? Starting QB's have bad games and TEAMS still pull out wins....Since when is winning a game based 100% of the time on a QB? Lame argument.
