This is literally the worst post ever on this site.

World Peace and Roll Tide think this post sucks and they are literally the Hitler and Pol Pot of this forum.

Bad: Britt starting for so long, Devon Wylie during a playoff hunt, crappy playcalling during 2 critical home gams which took them out of contention, conservative playcalling, not developing the OL considering he is an ex stud OL, and lastly, not actually showing fire until the last 2 meaningless games.

good: Giving Hunter a chance, being a nice guy, sucking enough to hopefully start packing. ;-)

Yep. The parts I bolded are especially egregious errors/failures on his part. Special teams were awful all year long and cost us a chance to win at least a couple of games. Who made the ST coaching move? And who left Reytaurd in there for half the season despite mistake after mistake after mistake?

On to the OL. How a HoF OL-man HC and a HoF OL-man OL coach tandem can produce such poor results after 3 years working together is beyond me. It's just about mind-blowing actually. I'd say it's pretty telling that he can't even manage to turn his own area of expertise into a standout unit of the team. Even though he says year after year that's what we are trying to do. And even though we brought in the top OL free agent this past offseason. And even though we used our early 1st round pick on the "can't miss" OG prospect of the draft.

    Pretty pathetic actually.

Couldn't have said it better myself brother....Can't even get his own expertise right. Yet, he deserves another chance 3 years later and 100 million lost.....So frustrating to hear that bs.

IMO Munch deserves a second chance, because:

    - This team never lack any effort in the games they played.
    - With a backup QB for most of the season they still were able to win 7 games.
    - We are a 7-9 team and not a 2-14 team like the Texans (and the Texans have a loaded roster with talent across the board)
    - We lost 2 games in overtime... I'm sorry but none of them were Munch fault.
    - We were a win away from the playoffs.
    - The team did improve from last year.
    - Titans played 9 games without their starting QB.
    - Players respect Munch, and unanimous voiced that was not his fault.
    - This team have a bunch of young players, players that just got drafted and are already playing in the last 3 seasons.

I'm not saying he did a fantastic job, but like the first season that we went 9-7 I didn't get too high neither I gonna get too low on this season 7-9.

Of course everyone wants to win a SB, but IMO you just need to build a team that can consistently compete for the division and get into the playoffs. Because once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. Who would've thought that the Joe Flacco led Ravens would win it all last year? or the years the Giants won it all, who expected that. And how often do the SB 'favorites' actually make it to the big game?

Getting to the playoffs/winning the division is the goal when building a team. The rest is just kinda luck once you get in IMO

So winning the regular season is patience and hard work but winning the post season is nothing more than a roll of the dice?

    Got it.

The way I see it if two Hall of famers at any position can't get you to produce then there is seriously something wrong with you as a player/unit or you just don't have it.Of course the unit can improve but they didn't seem to have it this year. We all agree that Munch was a good OL coach, maybe what we saw this season was the best he could get out of this group this season. Clearly i'm just speculating and it could be the complete opposite but I doubt that he all of a sudden forgot how to coach O-line.

Btw, you guys down playing the importance of losing QB only do it because you know that if you admit just how devastating that is to a team it gives people a damn good reason to think that Munch and this team would have done much better.Yeah the Eagles had success when their starter went down and Foles came in. Would they have had the same success if they had Fitzpatrick instead of Foles? No. The Foles thing is not a good argument. Foles played out of his mind and Fitz was below average at best, the situations are no where near comperable.

Before the season even started everyone and their mother was saying this season will come down to the play of Jake Locker. Jake barley plays 1/4 of the season and we all turn around and blame Munch? What? We all knew what this season was. Why are we all so shocked and outrage when we knew the deal from jump? We knew it would come down to Jake and his ability to stay healthy, he couldn't, why do we have to find something else to blame it on? Jake got hurt and the O-line sucked, it's as simple as that.
