The top 5 of this draft are all considered as potential high first rd draft picks. That's what's unusual about this draft crop.

Does not matter what the new coach wants. Read that article I posted. Chud was fired for not giving Hoyer a chance to start sooner. The GM is running the show there.

There is always unwarranted hype this time of year surrounding qbs. It won't last. This draft may be deep at QB, but I don't see it as and exceptional qb draft full of top talent by any stretch of the imagination.

I say trade up and take Clowney or stay at 11 and take a OT and get rid of Stewart and take AJ in the 2nd

The problem with drafting a QB after the first round is they rarely become immediate starters. They usually need a season or 2 to develop. The problem with that is we need a starter immediately. Russell Wilson was the exception to that rule. High first rd QBs are normally groomed to be immediate starters.

So if we take a QB in the first that should go in the second he will be better?

Like I said before, right now draft experts project 5 QBs as high first rd draft picks. After that there is a sharp drop off.

2011 first round picks at qb were Cam Newton, Jake Locker, Blaine Gabbert, and Christian Ponder. I believe that year the "draft experts" had first round grades on them as well. How did that turn out? Andy Dalton was taken in the second I believe. Heck if Jake Locker came out in 2010 he was projected to go number 1 overall. I'm sure that would have changed prior to the draft though. Five will not go in the top 20. Wanna put up your 191 moolah?
