Music City Miracle: 14 years ago today

Yeah this is still hands down the single most exciting play and/or moment in Titans history!

Its not even open for debate and its not even close.

When you think Titans history you cant help but smile or get chills when you watch the video and the annoucer yelling "there are noooo flags on the field - its a miracle! Tennessee has pulled a miracle!"

 

Do they actually have those?

 

I jumped up so high, I hit my head on the ceiling and lost my voice. I couldn't eat dinner that night cause I was on such a high! it's amazing what 1 football play can really do! 15 years ago and it feels like forever, we need to make another playoff run soon! I want our next playoff memory to come in the superbowl with our team holding the Lombardi trophy! Something that will last a lifetime!

 

Game was on super early back home, I had recorded the game but didn't watch it live.

Went online to check, read what happened. Kind of ruined it when I actually watched it.

 

I think one of you would have died that night.

 

Oh yeah. Third floor apartment with a balcony. Would have been him. I am much bigger.

 

I was jumping up and down in my chair. During the review, my wife just got home with the groceries and told me to get them. I told her that I don't care what she has- it will wait. Never have done that again, but that was a moment that I manned up

 

I remember walking outside and thinking the play would for sure be overturned. I thought, no way the refs would let this stand.

Came back in and fell to my knees and stared at the TV in disbelief.

I still remember what I did when the Bills came back in the playoff game in '93....

 

So hard to believe, that if this happened these days, there'd probably be twenty flags on the field, because, NFL.
