For all we know Whisenhunt landed the job because of an affinity for Locker. None of us on the outside looking in really have a clue what is going on inside the Titans organization. Media "insiders" have proven to be pretty clueless as well (which is a good thing). It should be fun watching the whole thing play out. I'm honestly a bit underwhelmed by Whisenhunt, but have chosen to be optimistic about the hiring. I've grown to have quite a bit of faith in the Titans GM. I do hope KW has learned and grown since his stint in 'Zona.

I don't have a problem with the combination of Greene and a rookie. As of right now, 19 underclassmen RBs have declared for the draft. There is plenty of depth in this draft class to find a guy who can play well.

Well I think it's a stretch to say "affinity" for Locker. The Cardinals had the fifth pick when the Titans had the eighth pick. The Cardinals took Patrick Peterson over Locker. You don't take a corner over a QB who you have an "affinity" for.

Probably like most coaches, Whisenhunt thinks he can fix Locker.

Of course he does, Locker is an easy fix.

All we need to do is send him to the same doctor as Wolverine and incase his bones in adamantium.

The more time goes on and I hear more about Whiz the more excited I am feeling towards 2014.

We all pretty much begged for a change of culture and we got it.

Munch should be a fine cordinator but hes not HC material IMO.

So they go out and get the top candidate on many of the remaninging teams list. Hes obviously way more established then Dan Quinn (who I was on record of saying I rather have more).

But now I am more comfortable with the move and just want to see a positive change going foward. Most of all I want the Titans to establish an identity. If Whiz wants to make us an offensive-minded team then I am all in. We still got a very athletic and young core on defense that will be exciting to watch but I speak for most when I say we all want improvement on the offensive-side of the ball - namely playcalling - coach Whiz can get that done.

Looking foward to the new identity and whatever strides this offense can make in 2014 whether he helps reconstruct Locker or even better yet have him go out and find his own QB to groom.

Browns have granted permission to DC Ray Horton to interview for any available coaching positions; Doesn't have to be HC, can be lateral.
