Do not think a new thread is needed for this but it is funny to see.

Alex1939 you were asking for this but I cannot remember where.

Matt Leinart Not Impressed With Titans Whisenhunt Hire

    http://raisingzona.com/2014/01/14/matt-leinart-impressed-titans-whisenhunt-hire/

Former Arizona Cardinals quarterback is not impressed with the Tennessee Titans head coach hiring of former Cards head coach Ken Whisenhunt. He said Kurt Warner ran the team and doesn’t think it’s a good fit for Tennessee. Hold a grudge much Matty?
Wow. I understand if he didn’t get along with Whisenhunt but I think he took his comments a little too far, even if he was only given 30 seconds to share them with Fox Sports. Here is a guy who comes off as sour grapes. He lost his starting job to Warner with Whisenhunt at the helm. He basically lost it because of an injury. While I’m never much in favor of a guy losing a job to injury, it was the right move given the rise of Warner and the inconsistencies of Leinart back in 2007.
Leinart is about the only person I’ve heard have anything negative to say about the hire. I think these comments clearly show Whisenhunt was in the right to rid of him. He became a distraction and would have been nothing but a disgruntled backup if he had stayed back in 2010 instead of being cut right before the season started. I say that even now knowing Derek Anderson ended up being the starter. We all know how that turned out.
It is a definite shot at Whisenhunt by saying Warner ran the team. I would also dispute the two years of success. I would say three. He led the Cards to 8-8 in his first season before the two playoff years. Not all the failures were his fault either. I did agree last year it was time for Whisenhunt to go. They had reached rock bottom and change was needed for all parties.
I’m glad Whiz is getting another shot and I do believe he is a good fit in Tennessee. Leinart should have just said no comment when asked about the hire if he truly felt that way. We’re all sorry you couldn’t cut it as an NFL quarterback Matty. Go find a frat house to hang at.

After seeing the Press Conference, ESPN posted this article that mentioned Whiz plans to call all the Offensive plays himself.

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10294237/tennessee-titans-introduce-ken-whisenhunt-coach

Article also talks about Webster liking that aspect in a head coach. So that means the OC won't be doing much on this new team. Having a HC call the Offensive plays is something the Titans have never had before.

No one can argue now that Whiz doesn't bring a whole new flavor of NFL football to Nashville

What does Leinert know besides hair gel, alchy, hot tubs and hot chicks. He was the johnny football before johnny.

He was a product of USC if he wants to say Whiz was a product of Warner lol

He needs to keep to fixing his hair a couple
hundred more times and shut the hell up.

Can't wait to see the off-season plan unfold. Things are looking up in TN after the disaster that was the 2013 season.

It is amazing how a really good QB can elevate the image of his coach. Just ask Dungy and Caldwell. Dungy only had one season at Tampa with more than 10 wins and got fired in favor of Gruden who took them to the SB but in Indy with Peyton 6 out of seven seasons were 12 wins or more.

Caldwell was completely lost without Peyton, some of you guys thought Munch had a dumb look on his face, Caldwell looked absolutely dumbfounded once Manning wasn't there...lol

Leinart was a bigger failure than VY and it is not even close. He is not out of the league because of Whiz, it is because he sucks. And he was never ever johnny football, he just was never that good. He played on teams that much like alabama, the last few years, the players around him were better at every positon than the opposition.
