Everyone does this. Except this time we actually like our HC's friends.

Most likely Steelers are going to try promoting Butler to DC in 2015...he still shouldn't be sitting under Lebeau right now IMO. But we were SO CLOSE...damn...well I'll probably be at the game this year in Nashville and after we beat him maybe I could meet Coach Whiz since they're good friends

Williams contract has expired. He is no longer with the team. It's time for the select few to finally deal with it. Williams is not coming back.

    ...

and if he does COMPLETELY disregard this post.

    ...

but seriously he's not coming back.

Tomlin will be on the hot seat next year if the Steelers don't make the playoffs, in my opinion.

Steelers LB's are the strongest unit on that team, due to Butler's coaching. There is no way Tomlin and company let the coach of his strongest link walk.

This is the 3rd time they've done this to him after Whiz has tried getting him

I'm cool with that as long as they're proven and not high school coaches.

In reality, head coaches don't matter that much if you have a franchise QB. A really good QB can make a bad coach look good. i.e. Jim Caldwell, John Fox, Packers Coach (Can't remember his name) etc..

Well ... Really it was the same QB that made Caldwell and Fox look good, so there really aren't many examples of this ... Maybe you could say an ELITE QB can make a bad coach look good. But in reality, there are far more examples of a good/great coach making a average/bad qb look good or a good QB look great

    Joe Flacco
    Alex Smith
    Andy Dalton
RG3 (yeah I said it, dude is average ... just look at his numbers)
Matt Schaub (except for this year)
    Philip Rivers (this year)

All average QBs that look much better due to the coaching.
