Good part about Whiz is that his friends are not tied to fisher. This is the fresh start this franchise needed when fisher was let go and did not get! I could not be happier

    Very underrated coach...

He also went 7-4 with Tebow, won that division, and beat the Steelers in the playoffs... WITH TIM ****ING TEBOW.

You have to be a great coach to win with Tebow. He scraped the whole playbook and designed it for Tebow's style and succeeded in doing it. And Tebow may have been their starter going into 2012 if Peyton didn't become a FA.

Agreed. Fox is a good coach, but having Manning as your QB certainly doesn't hurt. If he'd come to Tennessee Munch would still be the coach here.

Something to ponder: Three of the four teams playing for their conference championships this weekend are coached by a guy who was fired from his first head coaching job, just like our current coach.

Have to agree with you, this is the route I wish we went.

The other thing to consider is that it appears Ken probably wants to run a 3-4 defense. The fact that the Lions was unwilling to change their scheme is probably how we got him in the first place.

With that being said, correct me if I'm wrong, Greg Williams does not have any experience in a 3-4 scheme. Both of the guys we are looking at are 3-4 guys. Now how good are they is probably the fair question. But for all those who hate the 3-4 scheme I think the writing is on the wall. Titans will definitely be migrating to that scheme in the near future...
