What a steal

 

Total 180 from watching Munch build his staff. This time excitement and not the feeling of dread that I had with Munch's staff. The next couple of years are going to be fun to watch.

 

This is one super staff getting put together.

 

As one of the people who didn't mind Munch staying, if I had known we were gonna bring in a staff of this caliber I would have taken a dump on his porch myself. I still maintain our problems are more player based and won't be magically fixed but I do dare to hope this is a new beginning for us all. We now have 3 guys who at various points some of us wanted to be our head coach and we got them all on our staff. 2 of these coaches have given up arguably more glamorous positions just to be assistants in our staff. It's crazy.

 

I can't wait to see what happens this next season, he's building one hell of a coaching staff, instead of calling all his buddies up to go get drunk like Munch did.

From what I've read, most of the hires are his good friends. Most of them he has worked with before and some of them are his buddies. I suppose it must be ok if one agrees with the hires, but if you don't, then hiring one's friends is not the thing to do.

 

All this fresh new influx of coaching talent and coaching philosophies HAS to be good for the Titans in the next few years... Doesn't it ??? This is an exciting time and yet it's still 7/8 months away from the first kick off. Feels great to be this excited for a change ! So glad Munchak had principles and declined the extension, because I truthfully don't know what would have done if he had stayed and been a lame duck coach for another year. Hope he finds a new gig as I am sure he is a good guy, but glad he is outta Nashville !
